Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hi, I am Samdrew from the Philippines.

 

Who is your favorite Korean actor/actress? And how and when did you become a fan?

My favorite Korean actress is Jung SoMin. I saw her before in “Playful Kiss” but I am not a fan of K-Drama but when I saw her in “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” with Seo InGuk, I felt something special with her. That is the time when I became eager to watch all her series when I have free time.

 

What are the reasons why you love your favorite actor?

I have many reasons to love her. One would be because she is not a not picky person. She is lovely and very accommodating. It’s “Not maarte” or nitpicky in Filipino words. She also has cowboy behavior, which means she can do whatever she is assigned to her. Her versatility being an actress is great.

 

Can you recommend dramas or movies starring your favorite actor for new fans?

“Playful Kiss”, “D-Day”, “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” and “Project Wolf Hunting”.

 

Do you have an all-time favorite scene? Can you describe it or share a video?

In “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”, there was a scene where Seo InGuk told her about breaking up because he knew that she is his sister. The way Jung SoMin portrayed her character was so great, that she cried a lot and was still crying non-stop even behind the scene.

 

What was your favorite answer given by your favorite actor in an interview?

Jung SoMin said she tries to find new roles or characters for her future projects, that she keeps trying to be a better actor and that she doesn’t want to stay in one character only.

 

What is your favorite actor’s influence on your daily life or yourself?

It’s having good vibes every time, like the character of Jung SoMin in “Playful Kiss”, and becoming strong in your life like Moo DeokYi in “Alchemy of Souls”.

 

What genre do you want your favorite actor to appear in? What’s the reason?

Heavy drama, and I wish her to portray a character like a warrior. I also want her to do a light genre because all of them suits her versatility.

 

What are the actors you would like your favorite actor to act with? What’s the reason?

There’s none other than Seo InGuk with their drama series “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” because I felt both their chemistry and they are both great actors! I felt something special (just kidding) (heart-fluttering).

 

Which character played by your favourite actor made you fall in love with them?

Yoo JinKang in “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”.

 

Which co-actor do you think had the best chemistry with your favourite actor?

The one and only Seo InGuk.

 

Describe them in 5 words

“Big heart to her fans.”
For more than 5 words to describe her, “Beautiful not only outside, but she’s even more beautiful inside.”

 

If you could spend the day with them, what would you want to do together?

It is not enough to spend a one whole day to spend with her. But if I was given a chance, we will spend a dinner but not a simple dinner. (Boodle fight with her a group of fans – Jung so-min Angels in Philippines, and more group photos with her.)

 

If you could be in any scene with your favourite actor, which scene would it be and why?

The scene in amusement park in “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”. She rode the roller coaster. I would like to ride also with her.

 

Can you recall a moment where you cried/laughed with your favourite actor?

“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”. I always cried because of this drama everytime. I even made my YouTube channel (I’ve made a content about her and Seo InGuk) about her laughing. And maybe during “Playful Kiss” drama.

 

Name 1 quality in your favourite actor that you wish you had.

BIG HEART and down to earth, so kind

 

If you could write a book about your favourite character, what would the first line be?

“Jung SoMin, who is she?”
I am writing like this so the people who want to buy my book become curious.

 

What do you have in common with your favourite actor?

I have a pretty face (Just kidding). She loves her niece a lot, and as for me, I love kids also.

 

What is your 2022 prediction for your favourite actor?

More projects to come.
And make drama or movie with Seo InGuk.

 

What is the 1st K-Drama you’ve watched?

“Playful Kiss”.

 

What makes you watch a drama?

CURIOSITY! The cast, director, writer, summary, poster, etc.
Because of the actor too. My friend said she is really beautiful and that is true. Jung SoMin is really pretty.

 

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite actor?

Yes, I saw some fans comment about how something is wrong with my favorite actors but we cannot please all people. They don’t know who she really is.

To those who are not familiar with Korean dramas/movies, let’s watch or try to watch at least one or two, like the heavy drama “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” or about family like “My Father is Strange”, because all Korean drama/movies have a more twist scenes and the actors/actresses are so great.
