Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

I am Tahrima Hoque, I am a 19 years old girl doing a diploma in Computer Science and Technology, from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

It’s a long story but let’s start. So back in 2018, I was very much drama addict, so snooping through dramas I found “Dream Knight”, so I watched it, and at that time I was young so I would do a long research on every protagonist, so I did on Jay B (at that time JB) and I learned about the song ‘Girls Girls Girls’. Because I was young and didn’t had much experience about K-Pop, I didn’t pay much attention. Then again in in 2020 when the pandemic started and I listened to ‘Not The Moon’, so I became curious about everthing in that music video because everyone was not looking like a typical Korean., Their looks made me awed, so that feeling tok me where I am right now. And now I love their music more than their looks.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

Well I have reasons as much as the stars but let me just point out just a few of them. They are the only group that can do this much martial arts tricks. Second is that they are so easy to distinguish. Not an insult but almost all group I have ever seen looks quite identical to us foreigners but GOT7 is so different. Thirdly, their voices are so unique not everyone can copy or imitate. Fourth one is the fandom. Everyone is so chill and more than that, so peaceful. And finally, each member is very interesting.
To be honest their looks doesn’t overshadow their talents. Although these few words show a small glimpse of what they really are but a thousand reasons are not enough.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

Well, I might say Jay B caught my attention the very first time. Because he was the protagonist of that drama. But to be honest, “Why Jay B?” is difficult to answer but not did he only caught my attention, he also became my inspiration. But I am gonna say he caught my attention because he is the leader.

Who is your bias, and why?

My bias was is and always will be OT7. You cannot go wrong with that. And why, well, Jay B is my bias cause he is my first crush in GOT7, Mark is my bias because, well, he looks very elegant when he does those flips flawlessly, Jackson is my bias because, well, we have a lot in common from the personality, JinYoung is my bias for his amazing and wonderful lyrics writing. YoungJae is my bias because his ambition for giving it all and for his amazing smile, Bambam is my bias because he is Bambam, nothing more can be said. And last but not the least, Kim YuGyeom, well, it’s more of a pride than just a bias. His musical codes are what I always look forward.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

Well, not a single song from GOT7 can be removed from my recommendation list but if I had to pick then for title track I would recommend ‘You Calling My Name’ and ‘Eclipse’. These songs are great to ears, great melody, and have very great pleasing performances.

And for the B-side, ‘Teenage’, ‘Don’t Care’, ‘Drive Me To The Moon’, ‘Angel’ and lot more. Well not only their title track, their B-sides are as great as the title.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

Well as for the V Live, the one in that they did in 2018 in a hotel room. For fancam, I want to recommend the ‘I Am Me’, the one where Jay B went viral for biting his necklace when dancing.

As for the cover video their ‘Mr. Chu’ cover was my most memorable. Cover dance would be Shinhwa”s ‘This love’, and for individual content I would suggest to watch all the variety programs.

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

“If only
We can meet
If I
Can hold your hand
When I come to you
I keep getting scared
If we
Can love each other.”
– ‘If’ by GOT7.

Are there any words from the members you would like to share?

“Do whatever makes you happy no one can stop you from experiencing happiness.” – Bambam

Can you recommend words that your bias like to hear to new fans who don’t know yet about it?

Well I don’t know what they will like to hear except GOT7forever or our home but to the new fans please let them hear that they are very handsome especially to Bambam, Jay B and YoungJae…
Because they are the people who deserves to hear them the most.

Can you describe your bias in only one word?

Well, I have seven of them so to describe them in one word, then it will be family or dreamer.

Can you share a fun episode that only fans from your fandom know to readers?

Well, GOT7 is known for their expert variety skills, so if I were to share one, then it then it will be the moment in “Hard Carry2” where GOT7 members betrayed Jackson and Bambam and abandoned them on a train station.

If you are collecting goods, what is your most precious treasure?

Well,to be honest because I am poor. I tried my very best to achieve something in connection to GOT7 so I bought this key chain with my first ever earning and this Uno card because I play a lot of Uno.A Bangladeshi iGOT7 Talks About Her Favorite Group GOT7

If you have a chance to cook for the group, what will you cook for them?

Well, I might cook a Kacchi biryani for them or Beef Curry with Roti Bread. Because Jackson doesn’t like to eat too spicy, spicy is not included. And I might make a mousse cake for them too.

If you can spend a day with your bias, where will you go and what will you do?

Well, I want to go to the beach with them and have a night camping and BBQ there. And play some indoor games.

What’s your favorite 2022 moment involving your bias?

It’s the live they did on 8th anniversary. Because that live showed that they are indeed a family and they did not disbanded. I literally cried watching that live and laughed too cause they are seamlessly funny.

Do you have a dream subunit/unit?

Well, I really want GOT7 members to collaborate with any One Direction members or with EXO members. Because I think because GOT7 members are known for their social connection and friendly yet respected behavior they might be a great match.

Name a variety show/content show that you would love to see your bias on? Tell us why.

I would love to see GOT7 on “DNA Mate” or “Sixth Sense” or “Knowing Bros”, cause I think with these variety shows, we can see the most crazy and exciting side of them.

What is your favorite way of communicating with your bias?

Well it sure is through Twitter and Instagram but to be honest even if all the iGOT7 gets the chance to interact, I still will be unlucky.

What do you have in common with your favorite idol?

Well to be honest, as I said recently, with Jay B, what I have common is responsibility and true to my feelings. With Mark, it’s that we both like to do thrilling activities. With Jackson, it’s that friendly and sense of humor. With JinYoung, it’s that passing honest condolence and matured advice. With YoungJae, it’s that he knows what he wants. Bambam, it’s that he remembers who every were there for him. And lastly, Yugyeom, it’s his music preference.

Is your bias different while performing and in real life? What is your reaction to the difference (if there’s any)?

The only difference is that they give their all while performing, and in real life, although I didn’t have the luck to see them, they are very chilled people.

If you could write a book about your bias, what would the first and last lines be?

The first line would be, “Lets challenge the stereotypes.”
And the last line would be, “Let your love speak for you.”

Have you ever made a new friend because of K-Pop?

I might say I made more siblings through K-Pop or GOT7. I met great people with stories and very charming people who made me think why I wanna be in this fandom.

What is your favorite group/bias’ influence on your daily life?

Well, I have a whole future planned revolving around GOT7, I learned Korean, Japanese and Chinese just to understand GOT7 without subtitles, so that I can understand whatever language they use, and as for Thai I am having little problems but I’ma overcome that.

What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying?

My favorite side of my fangirling is that I learn new things about different culture from GOT7 because they are multinational group. Not only that they speak very clearly so I understand them, I also get praised for being good at 7 languages. But the thing is as GOT7 is not well-known, so I get to spread and promote GOT7. That gives me butterflies.

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

Tto be honest in Bangladesh people kind of hate and have prejudices towards K-Pop idols or Koreans, Chinese because of how they look, but that part I might say they are mostly illiterate and have less understanding so I sometimes find it hard to be free but my family has already accepted my fangirl side so I am safe at that side. Even though Bangladeshis are very hospitable and always smile at everyone, they can be sarcastic about K-Pop. But the generation is changing, so I hope for the better and for GOT7 to come and perform here in Bangladesh.
