Missing: The Other Side” (๋ฏธ์”ฝ: ๊ทธ๋“ค์ด ์žˆ์—ˆ๋‹ค) revolves around Kim Wook (Go Soo), a con man, who stumbled on a village inhabited by deceased people whose bodies have not yet been found. Together with Jang PanSeok (Huh JoonHo), who also sees the mysterious village, they uncover the truth behind their disappearance. Its first season was released on the 29th of August 2020 on OCN. Three years later, season 2 was released. Now, it can also be watched on Netflix and Viu.

The plot of the show itself is enough reason to catch the attention of many, especially those mystery lovers. It has a very engaging storyline, mixed with mystery and supernatural, and emotional roller coaster ride. It also has an emphasis on social justice and the exploration of afterlife concepts.

The show is very sad and emotional but there is room for comedy. The action scenes are also on point along with the cinematography and animations. Not to mention that one of the settings is an undercover cafe. What’s not to like?

The casting and their acting are chef’s kisses. The chemistry of the two, Wook and Mr. Jang, is immaculate. Even off cam!
