Within the large and variety industry that is the South Korean industry and the ever growing amount of groups, singer-songwriters and soloist idols, it makes sense how the hobbies of each individual can be so different. Some focusing on sports like soccer, while others focusing on painting, drawing or photography.

 

Sometimes, because of our influences and the idols we follow, we often pick up on these hobbies, or attend a class in an attempt to find a new hobby and follow our passion. If you are like me, even if we don’t recognize it we to find our own new passion in new music, art, photography or other hobbies because of this, often adding friends to our circle and creating new memories.

SeJun is known for his part in the South Korean boy group under IST Enertainment’s VICTON, who debuted on November 9, 2016 and known for their various songs, ‘What I Said’, ‘Virus’, ‘I’m Fine’, ‘Stupid O Clock’, ‘EYEZ EYEZ’, ‘MayDay’, ‘_UNBELIEVABLE’, ‘nostalgic night’, ‘Remember Me’, and ‘Howling’.

SeJun’s photography account is perfect for those wanting to do more street photography or looking for inspiration. On May 12, 2022, SeJun partnered with Wonderwall for not only opening his own photo exhibition “Four Seasons” but also for his Art Lab Project where the idol talks about finding yourself and your tastes when it comes to photography and being yourself, and successfully sold a PhotoClass, and numerous merchandise for a short period of time.

2. Hwang MinHyun (Photography)

Hwang MinHyun, recognized by many for being a part of the South Korean acts Wanna One and NU’EST, recently debuted as a soloist on February 27, 2023 with the album “Truth or Lie” and the title track ‘Hidden Side’. He is also known for being a fan boy of TVXQ and Eric Benet

He also described his love for photography through an interview with Weverse on March 2, 2023, where the idol stated “I feel like I should take a nice picture to share when I see some pretty scenery.” Last year, he started the photo account on Instagram (@optimus_sisun), carefully curating photos of little things he comes across in his day to day life with his fandom Hwangdo. He also added, “Even before I bought a camera, I liked taking pictures of the sky, nature and buildings with my phone” and more. 

 

3. WOODZ (Photography)

Cho SeungYoun, who would made his previous solo debut in 2016, became known as WOODZ only in 2018. He is known as a soloist, member of UNIQ and former member of “Produce X 101″‘s X1

The rapper and dancer is known for various songs such as (but not limited to): ‘WAITING’, ‘Kiss of Fire’, ‘Trigger’, ‘Love Me Harder’, ‘Waikiki’, ‘ABYSS’, ‘I Hate You’, ‘Pool’ (feat. SuMin), and more. The artist made his comeback with the 7 track EP “OO-LI,” which features the title track ‘JOURNEY.’ He is also known for talking about his depression and mental health issues on BAVERSE.

Jang SungHoon is a former math tutor turned actor and model for Esteem Models/SOOP. He is known for his appearance that emits his incredible charisma and tall figure, as well as for attending Chung-Ang University.

5. TREASURE’s Yoshi (Fashion-Art)

TREASURE, also previously known to K-Pop fans as TREASURE 13, is made up of several members from the survival show by YG Entertainment called “YG Treasure Box.” Currently, the group consists of 10 members after Bang YeDam and Mashiho‘s departure. 

Kanemoto Yoshinori, better known as Yoshi or Kim BangJeon, is the main rapper within the group, and is Korean-Japanese. The artist is known amongst fans for having many hobbies including graffiti, watching anime, skateboarding, painting, and previously taekwondo (He entered taekwondo competitions under his Korean name Kim BangJeon). 

Although the idol’s own personal account is currently unknown, as he uses the group’s account, through various SNS (Social Networking Sites), the idol has posted videos about his drawing and talking about his passion and interest in art and fashion.
