Nisa is a FOR X from Indonesia, eager to talk about her favorite group OMEGA X, her favorite contents from the group, and how they influence her in her daily life. Read her interview below!
Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?
Hello, I’m Nisa from Indonesia. I’m a K-Pop fan since 2013. It’s a nice chance to be featured in this interview.
How and when did you enter the fandom?
I joined the fandom in 2021 in the pre-debut era. I felt heartbroken because one of my ultimate groups was disbanded and my love life was in shambles, so I tried to look out for new groups. I heard about the news a project group called OMEGA X will be formed from disbanded group members and survival show participants, so I look forward to it, especially for YeChan. He is my bias in 1THE9, a temporary group formed by the survival show “Under Nineteen.” I was really curious about his future path after the group disbandment months ago. So I decided to watch their pre-debut variety show titled “ONE MORE CHANX”. I enjoyed their first meeting each other and they were doing a lot of debut preparation. I waited for their debut album to be released and it’s all worth it. They have amazing tracks and great performance. That’s why I feel I need to follow their every single path.
What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?
I love OMEGA X because they are all amazing, brave, and lovely people. They score excellent in talent, visual, body proportion, personality, and fan-service. But every member has their own charm. They all can write song lyrics and some of them are music producers and composers too. Talking about dancing, they are well synchronized, although they all have different styles when dancing. They have wide variations in concept and discography.
Who caught your attention at first and why?
The first ones who caught my attention were YeChan, SeBin, and TaeDong. In the first episode of “ONE MORE CHANX” only 7–8 members appeared, and SeBin was one of them. I have known SeBin since he joined the survival show “The Unit” in 2017, and I followed his journey with Snuper since 2018 as a maknae. He has shown so much improvement as now he is part of OMEGA X’s older member line and he tries to help coordinate the members at the moment. YeChan and TaeDong appeared in the second episode along with fellow member Kevin. I have known YeChan since he was participating in “Under Nineteen” and debuted in 1THE9 in 2019. He is my bias and I’m curious what he did after 1THE9 disbandment several months ago. I was the witness to speculations spread that he will join OMEGA X. That’s why I look out for him a lot. I know TaeDong since he was a participant in the survival show “Produce 101” Season 2 in 2017. He shows great stage presence especially when dancing and has amazing skills because he comes from F class to A class. OMEGA X is TaeDong’s first official debut in a group.
Who is your bias, and why?
My bias now is Hyuk. I first fell into his charm through a selca posted weeks before OMEGA X debut. Since then, he wrecked my bias list hard and became my ultimate bias. He has a sweet smile and I love when he laughs. He is excellent when he plays guitars because it is their specialty. But he has a sweet and deep voice when he sings. He is also great at dancing, rapping, acting, and video editing. Favorite fact I love about him is his favorite season is fall and he loves to go to the beach.
Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?
For title tracks, I recommend ‘Play Dumb’ and ‘Junk Food’. ‘Play Dumb’ is their first title track with the cute, bright, and fresh concept that everyone misses. This track contains catchy phrase lyrics, “Play Dumb diggy-dum” and cute choreography to follow.
‘Junk Food’ is their newest comeback track released on 7 November 2023, 1 year and 5 months after their previous comeback. OMEGA X shows their improvement with a new sound for this comeback. Their comeback mini album “iykyk” is their first album fully written by all OMEGA X members, and fully produced and composed by fellow members JaeHan, HanGyeom, Xen, JungHhoon, and YeChan.
For B-side tracks, I recommend ‘Touch’, which is included in their comeback mini album “iykyk.” The lyrics are written by JaeHan and the choreography is made by JungHoon, HanGyeom, and YeChan.
‘All About U’ is also my recommendation for B-side tracks. It’s included in their first full album “Story Written In Music”.
There are also some other B-side tracks I recommend, such as ‘12.24’, ‘Dry Flower’, ‘Island’, ‘Binary Star’, ‘Don’t’, ‘Please’, ‘Icetag’, ‘Venus’”, and three B-side tracks that have official MV such as ‘OMEGA X’, ‘Baila Con OX’, and ‘Liar’.
Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?
Hyuk is good at playing guitar. He uploaded several clips of playing electric guitar and covering some K-Pop songs.
Hyuk is also good at playing acoustic guitar.

Not only good in playing guitar, he is also good at playing bass.
He is also good at singing because he has a deep but sweet voice to hear. Here is a clip showing his singing skills and playing acoustic guitar.
Can you also recommend a content video (variety series, song cover, dance cover, etc.) by your favorite group?
For variety series, I recommend their pre-debut variety series “ONE MORE CHANX” and their newest variety series “HEALING MT”.
For group cover, I recommend their cover for ‘Don’t Wanna Cry’ by SEVENTEEN, and ‘Permission to Dance’ by BTS.
Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?
“We’ll never give up ‘til we bloom again” – ‘Dry Flower’ by OMEGA X
‘Dry Flower’ originally tells about a person who lost their partner but still wants to try to make them up. But the lyrics remind me of OMEGA X’s efforts to still stand in this music industry after overcoming many obstacles.
“Ten bros by my side as I told we got ROTY” – ‘Airplane’ by OMEGA X
‘Airplane’ tells about how OMEGA X felt things didn’t go well before but support from fans made them don’t wanna give up and prove they could get some achievements, and one of them was the Rookie of The Year (ROTY) award. They want to keep working hard so they can get more recognition.
Are there any words from the members you would like to share?
One day before CSAT 2023 begins, he shared some advices like this:
“You worked really hard and the results will be as good as your efforts, so don’t worry too much. You’ll make it, you’re the best. You’ll win everything.”
What is your favorite group/bias’ influence on your daily life?
OMEGA X taught me how to never give up even if you have failed so many times, but you can always get up and make another attempt. The members have faced several ups and downs but they keep trying to be on stage.
Hyuk once told us in an Instagram post, “Don’t hesitate to try new challenges or achieve something. If it’s hard, take a walk, breathe fresh air, and take a rest.” It motivates me to do better than last year so I try to do some workouts even if it’s not often, and know how to diet. Also, I’ve tried harder to set some steps and make new progress so I can get closer to my bachelor’s title.
Aside from that, during my period to be a fan of OMEGA X, I can try more how to edit photos, edit videos, be confident of my looks by joining selca days, and also hold some online projects.
Would you like to see your bias group in variety shows? What type of variety show would you like them to do?
I would like to see OMEGA X members in KBS variety show “The Return of Superman: Baby Cloud”. I want to see them take care of babies and solve some problems when babysitting them. I also want whole OMEGA X members to appear in traveling variety shows like KBS’ “Idol 1 Night 2 Days” because they can go traveling and do some missions.
What is your biggest dream for your favorite group/bias aside from being happy and healthy?
I want OMEGA X to get the no. 1 place in music shows after all the hard paths they going through. I also want OMEGA X to get #1 in the Korean digital music charts and can get more recognition from worldwide K-Pop stans.
For me, my bias is …
My inspiration.
Have you ever made a new friend because of K-Pop?
Yes, I made so many friends through Twitter when I joined the fandom. I’ve interacted with so many good friends even though we never met before, but I hope someday I will meet them.
