An American STAY Talks About Her Favorite Group Stray Kids And What She Did As A Fan

Jakiyah is a STAY hailing from the United States. Read her interview to find out how she started stanning Stray Kids, and her favorite contents from the group!

Can you Introduce yourself? Where are you from?

My name is Jakiyah and I’m from Georgia.

How and when did you become a fan of Stray Kids? What attracted you to become a fan?

I can’t remember since when I became a fan of Stray Kids maybe somewhere around late 2020, I was scrolling on YouTube and I came across a song called ‘Story That Won’t End’. It was by Stray Kids. I listened to that song like 24/7 for the longest time. What really drew me in was the rap part of the song I loved it so much, and I found out later that it was not one person who sung it. So I was shocked and so I searched the performance video of that song up and instantly I loved them, so I started to learn more about them and listen to more of their songs.

What was the first Stray Kids-related video or content that you watched?

The lyrics video of their song ‘Story That Won’t End’.

Who is your favorite Stray Kids member and why?

Currently, I don’t have a favorite member. I like to think I love of them equally. I have a soft spot for HyunJin because his personality is similar to mine, Han/ChangBin because I relate to them a lot, Felix/Chan because they’re a comfort, JeongIn (I.N)/SeungMin – I mean they’re adorable.

What is your biggest dream for Stray Kids aside from being happy and healthy?

My biggest dream for them aside from being happy and healthy is that they get the acknowledgment they deserve. It’s really hurtful to see people claiming they didn’t work hard and had everything handed to them when that’s so clearly untrue, they had many struggles and they worked their way through them, also the fact that most people claim they don’t write their own songs and etc. It’s really annoying and I want them to know how proud I am and many other STAYs are of them and their hard work.

If you could play a game together with your bias or any member, What game would it be? And Who would it be?

If I could play a game with any member, I would choose Han or HyunJin. I feel like it would be really fun, and chaotic. What game it would be, I’m not sure.

What Stray Kids song is your favorite? Why?

‘Cover Me’ and ‘Youtiful’. They give me a sense of comfort, and I can really relate to them a lot.

Can you recommend a content video by Stray Kids?

I would recommend “Chan’s Room” because honestly they’re comforting and it’s like home, I would also recommend “SKZ Code” for the laughs, also their members logs.
