Kim WooJin has been busy with OST collaborations, appearance as an actor on Brazilian TV show “Beyond The Wardrobe” as the member KyungMin, and seeing growth on his official Instagram account, woooojin0408. Many new fans are learning about the artist through different means, including his most recent release of the official MV for his track, ‘Drive Away’. Throughout his career let’s take a look at the beginning, fun facts you may not know about the artist, and the start of his solo career.

After setting out on his own and experiencing new things as a soloist, Kim WooJin released his pre-debut single ‘Still Dream’ on July 8th, 2021 before officially debuting in August of the same year with the mini album “The Moment: A Minor”. ‘Still Dream’, became a popular fan favorite amongst his fandom, aptly named CUBS. After announcing his fandom name, Kim WooJin and his company, 10X Entertainment, released a website where fans can create their own custom profile image with their favorite colors and the CUBS official logo, which can be accessed here.

Soon afterwards he released the powerful and courageous ‘Ready Now’ official MV.

Throughout 2021 to 2023, Kim Woojin took part in different OST projects, which include: ‘Because it’s you’ from “Let Me Be Your Knight“, ‘In The End’ from “Reborn Rich“, and ‘DIVE’ from “King The Land“.

In addition to his work as a soloist and achieving an impressive and steady following, he held successful tours and achieved an impressive goal: being the first South Korean to star in an HBO Max original series, “Beyond The Wardrobe”. He has also walked at Seoul Fashion Week for ULKIN, collaborated with the brand, and has even been featured on Forbes via an article written by journalist Joan MacDonald regarding his career and what’s to come.

On August 30th, 2023, Kim WooJin released the next in his ‘The moment’ series with “The moment: 美成年 Bounce”. This album consisted of Korean rock/alternative, K-Pop, and dance elements throughout the following 6 tracks: ‘On My Way’, ‘Song of Icarus’, ‘Telepathy’, ‘Drive Away’, ‘Tryin”, and ‘Say Something To Me’. ‘Say Something To Me‘ was previously teased to fans in an official MV and performed during Kim WooJin’s 2nd Anniversary Livestream via YouTube.

After releasing a teaser for ‘Drive Away‘ on December 15th, 2023 KST, Kim WooJin released the official MV for the track shortly after. The MV itself showcased a fun and different side to WooJin in a montage of film-like images and videos.
