Meet NOMAD, The K-Pop Group With Potential To Be The Next Big Thing

NOMAD, which is an acronym for “Need Our Microphones And Dances” is a newly announced boy group founded by Nomad Entertainment. The group consists of 5 members, who all happen to be adults: DOY, SangHa, ONE, RIVR, and JunHo. From this point forward, we will go on a deeper dive into the group of the dear 5 boys, as well as prove to you that they are a force to be reckoned with.

The sentence “Need Our Microphones And Dances” is a pledge from the 5 boys to further spread the members’ music and sound, and for them to not be bound to one genre of music, but to be “self-producing artists that create their own music, fashion, and even choreography”, as said in the group’s very first post on December 10th of 2023. 

As of right now, the group has 3 pre-released songs as their much-anticipated debut in February is slowly coming. The songs, in release date order, are titled ‘Lights On’, ‘Eye 2 Eye’, and ‘Automatic.’ Member DOY, who is the group’s leader, has credits on not only these 3 songs, but the total 7 on their debut album. Insane, right? Whether it be writing or composing, DOY knows how to do it all. 

From having DOY, someone with 10 years of experience in the music industry under his belt, to both SangHa and JunHo, who were contestants on survival shows, to the aspect of being self-produced, to simply the 5 of them having such harmonious chemistry and an undeniable talent in music flowing through each of their veins, NOMAD really is a group worth stanning. Birthdate: April 20, 2001 (22 years old)

RIVR

Birth Name: Shin KangSu

Birthdate: May 9, 2002 (21 years old)

JunHo

Stage Name: JunHo

Birth Name: Jeong JunHo

Birthdate: July 11, 2002 (21 years old)

JunHo was a contestant on “The Origin: A, B, Or What?“.

All in all, NOMAD do truly have what it takes to take the K-Pop industry by storm. From having members who are all of legal age, to having a music prodigy like DOY as their leader, the potential of this group’s future is undeniable.
