Marcus Rayden Cabais, the Maknae of the All Filipino Global Pop Group, has not only been a talented singer and performer but also a beacon of hope and inspiration in my life. I first discovered Marcus way back in 2018 when he became a part of Team Yey, a children’s show that showcased his talent and charisma. Fast forward to November 19, 2022, during his Dream Maker Mentor evaluation, and I was truly impressed with his growth and maturity as a performer and as a person.
When I first saw Marcus on Team Yey, I was immediately drawn to his infectious energy and natural charm. His performances were always a highlight of the show, and it was clear that he had a special talent for entertaining and connecting with his audience. But it wasn’t until a personal tragedy struck that I truly understood the impact Marcus would have on my life.
A few years ago, I lost both of my parents due to illness. I was consumed by grief and felt like I would never be able to move on from the pain of losing them. It was during this dark period that Marcus became my guiding light. His positive attitude and uplifting music helped me forget the blues of the past and look forward to a brighter future.
During his Dream Maker Mentor evaluation, I was reminded once again of the impact Marcus had on me. His performance was captivating, showcasing not only his impressive vocal abilities and dance skills but also his maturity and professionalism. But what truly struck me was his genuine kindness and humility. Despite his success, he remained down-to-earth and approachable, always taking the time to connect with his fans and show his appreciation for their support.
Marcus served as my inspiration to move on and cope with the death of my parents. His music became a source of comfort and strength during my darkest days, and his positive outlook on life reminded me that there is always hope for a brighter future. Thank you, Marcus, for being a shining example of talent, maturity, and kindness. You have truly made a difference in my life, and for that, I am forever grateful.
