Kwon Eun Bi, the former member and leader of IZ*ONE, who successfully proved herself as a solo artist with ‘Door‘ and ‘Glitch‘, participated in the WEB 3.0 based project <KPOP CTzen>. <KPOP CTzen> is a PFP(Profile Picture) NFT project based on K-Culture, including K-POP stars, and Kwon Eun Bi is the first K-Pop artist to participate in the OST. It is also known that the stylist Park Jin-ah and choreographer Choi Young-jun, who worked with <Street Woman Fighter>, YG entertainment, and <Produce 101> has participated in this project.
‘LIGHT‘ is a house music with an attractive dubstep sound. The contrast between Kwon Eun Bi’s soft vocals and the powerful synth expresses the feelings of encountering a new world. There are more interactive contents (choreography video, music video, etc.) scheduled for the K-POP fans.

Kim Seul Ong is back as a solo artist in 6 years with the new single [BETTER KNOW]. Kim has gained a huge fan base after winning 1st place on <TOP Band 1 (KBS)> as a member of TOXIC. Recently he performed as a member of CNEMA, a band formed through <SuperBand 2 (JTBC)> where they ended in 2nd place.
‘BETTER KNOW’, written, composed, and produced by Kim Seul Ong himself, is a song that contains sincere hope to be free from the things that make us feel down. Kim’s unique voice and the rap feature by Louie (from Geeks) enhance the song’s perfection. The song is filled with funk-based sound and rhythmic melodies, and it focuses more on the raw sound of the instrument, by not using samples. Kim Seul Ong’s career as a drumer is shown on this song, and you’ll understand why he wants to be called a ‘rhythmer’, not a singer-songwriter.

A Night Of Yeonnam

Winter To Spring is a jazz trio that consists of Song Hagyun(piano), Kim HyunKyu(Bass), Kim hyunggyun(drum). Before officially forming a band, the three members served in a same military band and spent time together jamming and practicing everyday. They came up with the band name ‘Winter To Spring’ from the enlistment time, from winter to spring, summer, fall, winter, and spring again. Winter To Spring records the everyday life – it can be a particular time like ‘2AM’ or ‘11AM’, or places like ‘Haneul Park’ or ‘concrete jungle’, or instant feelings like ‘I Can’t Stop Doing This!’. The new single ‘A Night Of Yeonnam’ has recorded the memories with friends, made in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul.

All three members are highly experienced musicians who worked with various artists like Epik High, Sinawe, so soo bin, Mnyl, One More Chance, and no reply. If you considered jazz as a ‘difficult’ music, you must try Winter To Spring’s!

Black Velvet Feel is a new concept band that mixes genres such as rock, hip-hop, and electronic. The new unit consists of Kim Bada (former Sinawe, Butterfly Effect, etc.), MC Meta (Garion), and DJ TIZ. The mixture of the dazzling rapping on the purged rock in psychedelic atmosphere makes their experiments feel real chemistry rather than old-fashioned. And through new attempts, fresh musical energy was injected into the new single [Run It Up].

SINAWE FOUR

If you’re interested in K-Rock, you must know this album!

 

Kim Bada‘s first appearance on Korean music scene was made with the legendary band ‘Sinawe’ in 1996. The heart of the band has always been the guitarist Shin Daechul and there are also so many big names on the band history such as Lim Jae Bum (vocals on the first record), Kim Jong Seo (vocals on 2nd & 4th), Seotaiji (bass on 4th) and Kim Bada (vocals on 6th & 7th).
There were so many ups and downs on their musical history but the band’s 4th album [SINAWE FOUR] was claimed as one of the greatest rock albums in Korea even though it was made on the darkest time for the band. The album became famous later, eventually. ‘Winter Rain‘ became all time favorite when Kim Jong Seo re-recorded it for his first solo. Also, Seotaiji put the chrous part of ‘Farewell to Love’ into Seotaiji and Boys‘s mega hit song ‘You, In the Fantasy‘.
