Khakii makes you feel at Home with his new album

Choi HeeTae debuted as a rapper underneath the name ‘Khakii‘ back in 2019 underneath Colde’s label WAVY. Not to long after would he appear and compete to improve his skills on the popular survival competition hip hop show [ Show Me The Money 9 ] in 2020 and then would follow it with [ Show Me The Money 10 ] in 2021. Through these appearances, he would see an increase in his following as performances and songs ‘Trouble‘, ‘Want It’, ‘Chameleon’, and ‘New New’ would go viral. ‘Want it’ hitting 5.3 million views on the official performance, while the songs would gain an impressive amount of streams over numerous music streaming platforms. 

This album will be the first since [ TIDE ] would be released back in 2022 and the next release after the singles [ Parkour ] and [ JUST ] in 2023, both songs being a popular fan favourite. 

Since teasing the possible of new music, Khakii‘s company WAVY, would share on Instagram the upcoming track list before the 7 track album [ Home ] would finally be released on June 14th with the following tracks: Come Home, Let’em talk, Coffee, Nobody, Escape Plan, Knight and Hotel. 

The album itself is a beautifully composed album with wonderful melodies and soothing melodies that makes it perfect for those cozy rainy nights at home or those peaceful evenings for those who enjoy r&b and indie influenced tracks with a hint of rap. The album is one that can provide that sense of comfort during long and early morning commutes, while the tracks ‘Coffee’, ‘Come Home’ and ‘Nobody’ currently being my favourites on the album, I would also urge you to take a listen to ‘Escape Plan’ and ‘Hotel’.
