Former TO1 Member makes his solo debut and writes a sweetly unique message to his fans

Known for his attendance and for being a contestant on the survival show [ WORLD Klass ], Lee Jae Yun would show his impressive skills not only as a main vocalist but also as the group’s leader throughout this time. He would later become a host for the popular K-Pop show [ After School Club ], where he would gain the attention of new viewers and new fans for his funny personality, ability as an MC (also referred to as a host) and his bright personality. 

TOO’s fandom (TOGETHER/TOOGETHER) would face their own separate hardships as the group would announce at K CON that they will officially be changing their name to [ TO1 ]. This would be around the same time that the group would release the EP [ UP2U ] and their single [ Hug ]. Sadly however, TO1 and Wake One Entertainment would later announce not to long after in 2023 in December that the group would choose to part ways with the company. Although the members are on their own path, some members like Yeojeong are expected to be in an upcoming boy group underneath Beat Interactive.

Back in June of 2024, it was announced to fans that he would sign an exclusive contract with HYPEER Records and will make his solo artist debut as a South Korean Singer Songwriter with his solo EP [ ZZZ ]. The EP would contain the following 4 tracks: Lucky, Say Yes (Song which was previously released in June), dot. and zzZ. 

On the same day of his solo debut, the artist would write a long impressively thought out and heart moving message to fans. Expressing his feelings about his album release.

According to the translation of his message, the artist would state within the message: 

“My first album that made me feel so many emotions is finally out! It doesn’t feel real yet, but tonight, when I put my blanket over me and look at the dark ceiling, I think I will be able to imagine a lot of emotions and scenes. LOL I think I’ve spent the past year learning a lot about myself, starting with the heavy but necessary question of what kind of person I am and what kind of singer I want to play for you. While preparing for this album, I tried to focus more on excitement than on the pressure of being my first album, and I think it was possible because of you guys. So, I want to say thank you first of all to our fans for waiting for a long time. Thank you very much and I love you. 💙

And there are so many people who helped me prepare for this album with their support and love for human Lee Jae-yoon and singer JAYN LEE. First of all, my family, who always give love with firm faith, my other family, Highfier family, Tomo and Yuki, who worked hard day and night to make great songs, Changhoon, who helped me mix “Lucky,” Jaeho and Hojung, who helped me come out to the world, Sun-ah, Moonhee, Taeju, Byeongkyu, Hailey, who helped me to show my fans only beautiful sides, and Kevin who helped me experience many musical experiences during the break. I was able to release my first album safely because of you. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. 🤍” 

The idol would later go on to leave messages in English and Japanese to his International fans as well, the messages themselves stating: 

“I’ll continue to sing positive songs, but I think it would be perfect if I could give you a small smile when you need strength or want to take a breakPlease look forward to JAYN LEEThank you and I love you 🫶.
