December is often a month that is usually referenced to be warm and cozy, various holidays and celebrations, twinkly lights, heart warming meals, new beginnings, family and friend reunions paired with a mixture of joy, hope, familiarity and safety. Although maybe not everyone will celebrate Christmas or the Holidays, this is usually the time of year for remembrance, rejoice, decorating and yummy food. For many no matter the hobby you enjoy or the music you like to listen to in your free time, for those who enjoy K-Pop and K Dramas, the month of December is already action packed filled with lots of entertainment and more to be released, (check out this December 2024 Kpop Debut/Scheduler by KpopMap).
In my own journey from changing from the world of Chinese Entertainment and Music into the South Korean Entertainment/ Music Stream, and the genres I would discover along the way, B.A.P was one of those first groups (next to BlockB and many others) at the time of 2017 – 2018 I would come across a little bit before the December month. B.A.P would have their last single/(album) as a six member group where it would contain three tracks; ‘HANDS UP’, ‘MOON DANCE’ and ‘THINK HOLE’.
Throughout the years, fans of the group would see small interactions throughout the difficult hardships, photos of the members seeing each other and having dinners, while even sending some of the members (such as YoungJae) to military. More recently would YoungJae, Daehyun, and Jongup would appear to support Yongguk for his album release and make the release a special time for fans. Although there would always be an official comeback as B.A.P in fans eyes (and even Jongup’s). Even if it was unknown at the time, Jongup would later end up signing with MA Entertainment, and not to long after would they release the ‘Man on the Moon’ documentary featuring the members of B.A.P, with hints of an upcoming comeback and a proper closure to fans.
Although it is currently unknown if the group can use their former name of ‘B.A.P’ in official promotions and music releases due to issues with their former company, and has since been promoting underneath the name ‘BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON’. Since releasing ‘Curtain Call’, the members are expected to make a Christmas Comeback with ‘Christmas With You’, an album preview would be released on December 11th 2024 ahead of the official release: 2024.12.18. (December 18th 2024).
