WATERFIRE’s Choi Suhwan releases beautiful cover of D.O’s ‘Popcorn’

Appearing to start his career within the music and entertainment industry as a trainee back in 2019, the artist would compete on the broadcast show [ PRODUCE X 101 ] on MNET including taking part in NEXON CLOSERS ‘My World’ within the same year. Although he wouldn’t be picked to debut within the final group, Suhwan would gain an on growing popularity throughout the show with his talents, charming personality, duality and a mother who even ran a fansite like account for her son during the time; this touching the hearts of many fans (now known as ‘LAKE’). 

As his career would continue and as he would release various solo songs that perfectly showcased his talents with different melodies, not only would he establish his own one man agency, but would later take part in ‘SING FOR GOLD’ (SBS, 2022) but would also take part in BUILD UP, one of the most recent shows by MNET. Gaining attention for his visuals and performances and even despite the hardships he might have faced with the show itself, him and his team (WATERFIRE) would go on to debut as a 4 member project group on May 30th with the single album ‘POSSIBLE’. 

Although WATERFIRE is still contituing to post on their social media, Choi Suhwan is the most active on his solo SNS (Social Media), where he updates fans with song covers, official songs, live clip performances, and more. You might recognize him for his most well known covers and song releases (and my personal favourites): Left on Read, WOODZ DROWNING (Cover), Starry Night, CHANCE, EXO Bambi, Losing Sleep, D.O That’s Okay, Wanna One Energetic, BTOB SomeDay and many more.
