For those who follow or keep up with the latest trends, fashion or even entertainment in the South Korean Entertainment or Music Industry, you have probably heard of, watched or were recommended a competition (survival) show at one point. The show depending how you view it could be either a positive or negative thing, either way it offers unique performances, challenges throughout the episodes. As these episodes would go on would the audience be introduced to the trainees who practice dancing, singing, rapping and are looking to introduce themselves to a possible fanbase throughout the show (as well as make it into the debut lineup).
Within these shows which are sometimes centred around a theme and overall style, the contestants would usually be eliminated the closer it got to the finale episode which would eventually reveal the group name, future promotions and more. For many trainees/contestants they can often been seen entering the music, fashion, modelling industry or choose to go back to being a trainee underneath a company, while some choose to move forward with their future on their own.
For Choi Seon he would take place in two shows; Produce 101 2nd Season back in 2017 and I-Land which was a popular show that took place back in 2020 and would later end up debuting a boy group underneath CJ ENM and BigHit Entertainment. He is also known to fans for his previous stage names On(온) and purely Seon.
Since 2021, SÉON would showcase his talents in music. Previously underneath his stage name On, he would be revealed to be apart of the various member producing team CIELOGROOVE where he would be credited for both writing, composing and even arranging credits on various songs. Even releasing (a now deleted) SoundCloud Exclusive ‘Die for you’ in 2022, he would also release, ’24’, ‘lalala’, ’24/7′ and ‘One Day in December’ before also taking part in ‘Dream of You’ for TAN in their 2023 album ESSEGE.
Throughout the years SÉON would build a steady and loyal fanbase, often cherishing his fans with love and attention, he would share his various photography photos with fans as well as his modelling activities or other projects.
In a recent posting paired with a sweet message about the song itself, fans would notice the newest and latest release by the artist called ‘Just Because’. In this Instagram Post, he would share that he took part in Composing, Lyrics, and even the Chorus of the song, sharing the beautiful star filled cover art for the song on his Instagram within the announcement.
