Krr releases new single ‘Dissolve’.

With new releases in the music industry and due to each country having their own genres and bands, there is always something to discover and a big part that I love about music discovery in general. From new music that suits the mood to music that is perfect for every playlist, there just seems to be something to always enjoy because of it, no matter who you are, there is so many options to finding that band you just love and listen to often. 

Depending on the band itself or even the company, everyone has their own specialities and genres they take influences from in their own music or when producing music for others. For the 4 member South Korean band krr/ Krr (크르르), its a band that knows no boundaries, often releasing a wide range of music and being influenced by different genres; Indie, R&B, Soul, Rock, Metal, Ballad and even Folk&Blues. 

They debuted back in January of 2017 with their first single, BigWave with their members; Seo YoungJoon (Vocalist), Park Min Young (Guitarist), Jung SeokWon (Bassist) and Park Byungseok (Drummer). Although the members do like to keep their lives private and don’t tend to share a lot of information about themselves, the vocalist of the band (YoungJoon) has been known to write for various artists, he even would take part in ‘I&credible’ and ‘Calling (Run to you) for I-Land. In one of their post from 2023 showcasing new pictorials/ profile images, would be one of the first known and recognized times that the members have publicly shared their Instagram profiles with fans, where fans could learn more about their personalities, from cat photos, drummer photos, behind the scenes or radio station appearances, it may not be as frequent as bigger label artists but there is something for everyone. If you enjoy indie music, or even good photography, Krr is a band to check out.
