Option releases his 1st EP and new pictorials.

For many fans of music often no matter where you come from or what country you belong to, there are often various music genres that are influenced by different points in time, take in influences from other genres or even slowly developing its own alternative or unique genre of music based on its own style, inspiration, history and other references. Sometimes even if we do recognize these genres there is often sub labels within that one category of music, and numerous artists who are seen as a ‘representative’ or are popular suggestions for those who want to get into that music scene. For those who think of Korean Soul, Indie or even R&B you tend to get suggested various artists depending on the person, sometimes this could be 10cm, Dvwn, wave to earth, Jimmy Brown, Junny, Dean, Heize, UnOrdinary Sunday, BiBi, Ji Jin Seok, jeebanoff and many many others.

As the new year begins and the popularity of South Korean indie and rnb on the rise, which is welcoming many new listeners to the scenes or introducing themselves to new artists as they begin to come out with more music, each artist has his or her own speciality or talent that makes them unique and stand out within that scene or community. 

In 2020 (according to his Melon Music Profile), the artist is a South Korean singer who debuted back in 2020 with his first single ‘Echo’, afterwards, he would release his fan beloved tracks ‘사랑했잖아…., Remained Scent, and my personal favourite decaffeine (feat. BB).’ Within these songs as listed over on Spotify, Option is listed as the main artist, composer and even a lyricist within his songs which shows his talent in music production in different fields. 

In one of his latest announcements, Option would start off the new month of March by releasing his first self tilted EP ‘Option‘ which includes the following 6 tracks (some being previously released); Take care of you, Toy, Taxi Driver, Summer night, Bad Bee (feat. OoOo) and decaffeine. 

It wouldn’t be to long after this that the artist would release new pictorials to fans while also releasing a mood sampler video over on his YouTube channel which showed off more of his style and pieces both in colour and black and white.
