Jesh is a Filipino CARAT, eager to talk about her experience as a fan of SEVENTEEN, how the team and her bias Jun inspire her, and their influence on her daily life. Check out her interview below!
Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?
Hi, my name is Jesh, and I’m from the Philippines.
How and when did you enter the fandom?
I have been a CARAT for 7 years already. I was in high school when I got to meet them. My older sister is one of the reasons I am able to know them, because she’s been a fan since their debut and introduced me to SEVENTEEN afterwards.
What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?
I still remember the days when I was in my worst state. When I saw the brightness of SEVENTEEN, I was in deepest chaos. At first, it wasn’t easy, as they were composed of 17 members, but now there are 13. I had to memorize every single name and face, but later on, it became fun. I watched every single episode they have; I have witnessed their struggles, their hardships, how they are so passionate, and giving all they have just to show how dedicated they are and worthy of stanning. In the midst of the chaos I am in, they showed me that chaos brings light and that darkness is not always dark. They paved the way for me to love the mess, as it was where they made me the happiest. Additionally, SEVENTEEN possesses some magical forces that, even if you’re just watching them for fun or entertainment, there is this certain thing that will allure you to know them deeper, to know them more.
Who is your bias, and why?
Hereโs my deep admiration and appreciation for Wen JunHui (Jun), also known as Moon JunHui, who has captured my heart as my ultimate bias in SEVENTEEN. His unique charm, unwavering dedication, and exceptional talents have made him an irreplaceable and cherished member of the group. From the very first moment I laid eyes on JunHui, I was captivated by his presence. His striking visuals are undeniable, but what truly sets him apart is the passion and commitment he brings to every performance. Whether it’s singing, dancing, or acting, he pours his heart and soul into every endeavor, leaving a lasting impression on all who watch him. His stage presence is unparalleled, and it is evident that he strives for nothing less than perfection in his craft.
Beyond his remarkable talent, Junhui possesses a multitude of qualities that make him truly special. He is sweet, attentive, thoughtful, and observant, always mindful of the needs and feelings of those around him. His genuine care for his fellow members and fans is evident in his actions, and he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels valued and appreciated. His warm and compassionate nature is a testament to the kind of person he is, and it is this aspect of his personality that has endeared him to me even more. One of the aspects that I admire most about Junhui is his extraordinary work ethic. He has been involved in the entertainment industry from a young age, juggling his roles as a Chinese actor and a member of SEVENTEEN. The challenges and hardships he has faced to pursue his passions are undoubtedly immense. Yet, he continues to push himself to new heights, demonstrating unwavering determination and dedication to his craft.
Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?
“I’m not afraid of tomorrow, which may fall apart
When we’re together, I’m not afraid of my tears.โ

Those are the lines from the song ‘Kidult’; it just explains that even in our lowest times, we can still count on them, and they will always be there.
What is your favorite group/bias’ influence on your daily life?

They constantly emphasize the importance of cherishing one another and spreading kindness. Through their actions, they have taught me that love doesn’t cost a single cent. It is the small acts of compassion and understanding that truly make a difference. Their ability to create a supportive and loving fandom community has inspired me to be a better person, to reach out to others with empathy and to embrace the beauty of human connections. Through them, I have met the most loving and caring individuals that bring a big impact with my confidence.

They have been an incredible inspiration in my life as a CARAT. I am forever grateful for their presence and the positive impact they have had on my daily life.
What is your biggest dream for your favorite group/bias aside from being happy and healthy?
My biggest dream for JunHui is to see him explore more of his solo and cover work, excel in acting by taking up more movie projects, and showcase his exceptional dance skills through captivating dance covers.
Can you recall a moment where you cried/laughed with your bias?
Oh, yes, I remember crying during their “BE THE SUN” Tour in Manila, at the Mall of Asia Arena because it was my first time seeing him in person, and I had manifested to see him for almost a year before that. Seeing him live, singing and dancing, made me cry so much.
Can you share with readers the first ever picture you’ve saved of your bias on your phone?
Here are the photos I have taken of when I got the chance to go to their concert in Bulacan, Philippines. He looks surreal and I canโt help but to take some shots of him.
If you could write a book about your bias, what would the first and last lines be?
First line: As I passed through him-eyeing me like heโs loving the sight. Heโs like a fallen angel in disguise.
Last line: I was enchanted by him, the greatest green.
