A Korean TRUE Talks About Their Favorite Group TRI.BE And Their Recent Comeback

Some days ago, I had the opportunity to meet a fellow TRUE on Twitter. He had the opportunity, like other fans, to participate in an event with TRI.BE in which they could listen to a highlight medley of their recent comeback “W.A.Y”.

He accepted to give me a short interview about that experience and his opinion about the fandom and the girl group he stans. As a request, I will keep his name anonymous.

 

Can you briefly introduce yourself?

Male, middle age, architect, President of a small corporation.

 

When and how did you come into the fandom?

I have often heard ‘DOOM DOOM TA’, ‘RUB-A-DUM’, and ‘WOULD YOU RUN’ when exercising. I think I became TRUE during “LEVIOSA” comeback. I think the standard for a fan is when they are willing to pay a lot of money and a lot of time.

 

Why do you like your favorite groups?

I really like the fast beats and varied melodies in TRI.BE’s music. I love listening to this kind of music when I go to work in the morning, when I exercise, or when I’m focused on work. I also really like TRI.BE’s dance. They show a very powerful and accurate performance. Finally, I love every member’s personality. They are very cheerful, pure, passionate and friendly to their fans. Some of the members say that despite their young age, they go on stage with a lot of joint pain due to a lot of dance practice. Hearing stories like this naturally cheers me up.

 

Who first caught your attention and why?

I got to know the song first getting than knowing the team. I’ve never been interested in a particular individual first. Jia loves her fans because she always treats them very warmly. SongSun always likes to show a more professional play, like a good song cover. HyunBin and Mire are TRI.BE’s cognizance. She is a source of strength and energy. SoEun and Kelly are the most special transfers that give the team a unique flair. So I’m very interested in all of them.

 

You had the opportunity to spend time with TRIBE members and listen to the highlight medley for the next album. What is your impression of the new album?

Visual and sound. There is a big change unlike before. It is bright, vivid, cheerful and light. Lovely, cute and fresh. I think anyone will feel young and lovely. However, fast, powerful beats and attractive performances still prove that they are TRI.BE.

 

And soon it will be the 2nd anniversary of TRI.BE. What would you like to tell them?

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience as TRUE?

TRI.BE’s fandom, TRUE, is growing into a wonderful community that maintains order. Meeting with them (TRUE) is also a special luck that is different from meeting TRI.BE. They are passionate, party-loving, and very pleasant people, but at the same time, they are very exemplary friends who respect the artist and value the manners of the audience on stage.

TRI.BE’s 2nd mini-album “W.A.Y” is finally out and you can enjoy it. I am pretty sure that you will be caught by their uniqueness, and the MV is totally different from their previous ones, with a retro concept that portrays the joy of youth.
