A Spanish BOAT Talks About Her Favorite Group ATBO And Her Bias Kim YeonKyu

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

 

Judit from Spain is the next fan to answer our questions. She is a fan of ATBO, particularly of Kim YeonKyu! Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

 

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello, I’m Judit, a 16-year old Spanish BOAT.

 

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I entered when IST Entertainment announced that they would be releasing a survival show to debut a new boy group and in that program, YeonKyu was participating, he was my pick in the show. He participated in 2018 and 2019, and I fell in love with him since that and when they announced he was participating I had to watch it.

 

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

I have so many reasons why I love them. Maybe it’s so normal to say this among fans but they really made me happy, they are the reason why I keep trying to achieve my dreams, and thanks to them I became a better person.

 

Who caught your attention at first and why?

As I said before, YeonKyu caught my attention in 2018 because he was my pick in the program he participated and when IST announced “A B or What”, I had to watch it and I fell in love with all of the contestants.

 

Who is your bias, and why?

As I said before YeonKyu caught my attention in 2018 because he is just two years older and his voice when he is singing is amazing, in my opinion, he has a unique voice. Another thing I liked about him is his smile, he has a very pure smile that can make others smile with him.

 

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

I recommend all of their sons but they just had their first comeback. Their title track ‘ATTITUDE’ is so good, also their debut song ‘Monochrome’ is amazing. The choreography and the style is perfect. For B-side track I can recommend ‘Graffiti’. This song is so cool, and when they released it, the fandom loved it, but another song I can really recommend is ‘The Way’. I think this is my favorite song from them. It’s just perfect.

 

Can you recommend a fan cam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

From YeonKyu, I can really recommend any cover he has released, his voice has a unique color so you would have a good time just listening to his voice, but if I have to choose one I would say you should listen to the cover he did of BLACKPINK’s ‘Stay’. He sang it in one of the episodes of “YG Treasure Box”. But if you want a more recent one, I recommend you the cover he did of ‘Tale’ by Melomance.

 

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

For the group I have to recommend one of the stages of ‘Monochrome’ they did on “Inkigayo”. They performed it on August 21st and I loved their outfits so it became my favorite video of them.

 

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

One of my favorite lyrics from ATBO is their song ‘RUN’, it’s the song of their survival show and it also appears in their album.

 

What type of concept do you prefer: cute, dark, sexy, etc?

My favorite style of concept is fresh. I like happy songs because they transmit me happiness and if I’m sad about something they make me feel better and comfort me.

 

What is your best souvenir with your favorite group until now?

I can share some moments with ATBO, but… the one touched me the most was when I could talk with them in their episode of “After School Club”.

Can you recommend a cute or funny video (30s)/gif of your bias to our readers?

 

Name a variety show/content show that you would love to see your bias on? Tell us why.

I want them to be on “Weekly Idol”. I think is a good interview program and they also play games and it’s so funny to see it, so I think ATBO would like to be there and have a good time.

 

If you could spend the day with them, what would you want to do together?

I want to it to be in Lotte World. I have seen so many photos and videos of that place and it looks so good so I think we would enjoy it so much spending a day there.

 

Name 1 quality in your bias that you wish you had.

Amazing voice, I’m only going to say that listening to his voice is like listening to an angel.

 

If your bias were to collab with another idol, who do you think would be best?

I think he would do an amazing job if he collaborates with Kang SeokHwa from WEi. They both have an amazing voice and same vibes. Also, they participated together in “YG Treasure Box”, so they will be an iconic duo.

 

What is your favorite group/bias’ influence on your daily life?

Thanks to them, I learned to not give up and pursue my dreams, they are the exact example of that. Another thing is that they are my role models so they inspire me a lot in different aspects.

Hello, YeonKyu! It’s been 1435 days since I fell in love with you and I don’t know how to explain it, but you are truly amazing.
I had liked you since I was 13 years old and I dream of the day when I can finally meet you in person every day. It’s so hard because I live on the other side of the world, but I can meet you despite long distances through your music. I’ve been so happy for the last few years thanks to you. You are my favorite person in the world and you are going to be it forever.
Do you want to know a secret? My dream is to be an artist. I want to be on the stage, make people happy thanks to my music and be an inspiration just like you are for me.
