After announcing their latest development of a new competition show focused around male vocalists from different entertainment, musical and singer paths. MNET would introduce the show ‘Build Up’ with different announcement’s leading up to the show’s premier.
The show would announce it’s impressive and star studded list of judges and guest judges on December 12th 2023, before announcing the contestants of the show itself through its different categories: Orange: All Rounder Voice, Green: Unique Voice, Purple: Power Voice and Blue: Soul Voice.
The vocal categories would also be introduce the contestants by revealing a silhouette teaser and the said individuals song they would cover. For example, V1 (Contestant 1) would perform ‘Rain’ by Paul Kim and would be revealed as CIX’s Kim Seung Hun, While V6 (Contestant 6) would perform ‘Letting Go’ by Day6 and would be revealed as KNK member Jeong In Seong.

IMFACT member and contestant on the show The Unit, Park Je Up would be introduced to the audience for the first time through his silhouette teaser: Star by GB9.
Park Jeup would make his debut as an idol in the five member South Korean Boy Group ‘IMFACT’ on January 27th 2016 underneath Star Empire Entertainment. Throughout their career, they would release the popular fan favourite tracks, titles and even OST’s. Some of these include but not limited to: I’m Fine (2020), Lie (2020), Only U (2019), She is (2019), NANANA (2018), The Light (2018), Truth (OST) (2018) and Tension Up (2017). Despite leaving Star Empire Entertainment back in 2022, the members have all separately assured fans constantly that they are still IMFACT even leaving the company, and assuring them of their care and love the members have for each other.
Park Jeup is known for his various roles within the group (Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Visual and Face of the Group). Although he also goes by the stage name ‘Seowool’ since signing with his new company after the completion of his military service, he would finally hear to fans questions and determinations to become a soloist on October 3rd 2022 with the single ‘DayStar’.
Since then, the artist has not only officially completed his mandatory military service, but has also released numerous tracks in different styles showcasing his ever and on growing love for music: Dear Snow (Single, 2022), Can’t Leave (Single, 2023), One Man (Single, 2023). This would also include his latest and first release of 2024: Can’t we love without going crazy? (feat. KIM DO HEE) which was released earlier this march.
Throughout his time and appearance on the show ‘Build Up’, fans would see why he is IF (IMFACT fandom name) favourite vocalist, and properly nicknamed ‘Vocal King’ in official stages and rounds within the show.
