As within any music scene within the world and no matter what genre or music language you enjoy, it’s clear that as we grow up and as we begin to learn and dive into other music genres there’s always a lot more then we originally thought. Either when it comes to music genres, languages or various genres within the main and exploring the world of individual talent and independent artist making their own way into the music scene.

Similarly within K-Pop the genre and scene of Korean indie, alternative rock and r&b artists is pretty similar. Often those first entering the band scope and asking for suggestions, it is quite often the first time they hear of groups such as: Day6, F.T Island, Royal Pirates, NELL, The Rose, N.Flying, ONEWE or Xdinary Heroes. Sometimes the further you get into the genre and discover the artist you enjoy, you might come across SURL, 1415, Hoppipolla, LUCY, Trax, Off the Menu, wetter, Dasutt, 2z, Iz or the female rock alternative band Rolling Quartz for the first time.

Similarly happening to me after coming across them through a Youtube home page suggestion would I come across the group’s Youtube Channel earlier this month.
