Artist Insight: Find Out About The Korean Artist homezone

Yoo HongJong better known professionally as homezone, is listed in the site New Gravite as “The chill artist that feels like home,” when writer Shi Qin Tan wrote about K-Wave back in 2022. 

He started as an artist on Soundcloud, focused on his own passion and making songs he thought people would enjoy, including his covers such as, Baek YeRin‘s ‘Square’, Heize‘s ‘So, it ends?’, Moses Sumney‘s ‘Plastic’, Colde‘s ‘Your Dog Loves You’, Johnny Stimson‘s ‘Flower’, Crush‘s ‘Mayday’, as well as a handful of demo’s before debuting with the digital single, ‘Hymn To The Equinox’ on August 23, 2019.

Currently signed to gardenonmars, who focuses on Lofi-Ballad-Indie music, you might also recognize the small company for their artists ecru and yuenn. Not only would homezone recently hit 8.3k followers on Instagram, but he is currently promoting with various videos and performing live in “Homecafe Edition” on YouTube, where he posts live clips, cute interactions with customers and fans. Hereleased the last episode “3 Day Journey”on his solo YouTube Channel underneath his real name HongJong Yoo (@ homezoneofficial).

Although he states himself in the YouTube about section as, “Just a random Korean guy making covers and songs. Hope you Enjoy,” it’s no doubt that you can find something you enjoy within his numerous music releases or covers, or find comfort in his content and find “Home” with his music.
