Brazilian TO MOONs Surprise ONEUS With Touching Projects At Their “REACH FOR US” Concert

ONEUS announced their first world tour “REACH FOR US” on October 25, 2022, which was previously posted on the group’s fancafe on October 21, 2022. The post was deleted on the same day and returned to be displayed permanently on October 25. The tour passed through the following cities: Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, New York, Washington, Atlanta, Orlando, Madison, St.Louis, Fort Worth, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, Mexico City, and Santiago. Beyond to the surprise and happiness of the Brazilian TO MOONs, ONEUS announced their first concert at Brazil in the city of São Paulo on February 15, 2023 at the concert hall Terra SP.

In the morning of the day before ONEUS concert in Brazil, some fans who wanted to be sure that they would stay close to the boys, that they have already started camping. And on the 15th of February (day of the show) the line soon started to fill up, TO MOONs meeting for the first time or meeting again. The fanbases responsible for the projects were there helping every TO MOONs with the projects, distributing lots of gifts and even helping with some doubts about the show. The queue was a really nice exchange place, everyone’s energy was amazing and everyone was looking forward to the last show of the tour here in Brazil.

But as not everything was flowers at the end of the afternoon. A torrential rain started to fall and it was desperate. The TO MOONs took shelter where possible until they waited for the momentary storm pass.

The gates opened around 18:00 in the afternoon and it was at this time that the members LeeDo and SeoHo went for a walk and bought gatorade at a nearby restaurant, and the TO MOONs who were in line could see them up close and it was amazing!

The Brazilian TO MOONs gave a show even before the group ONEUS entered the stage, while the playlist playing for 1 hour and 30 minutes before the show, the TO MOONs sang all the songs as loud as they could. And ONEUS hearing this cry came as a surprise, members KeonHee and LeeDo appeared at the top of the cabin and waved goodbye to everyone.

At 8:00 pm punctually the lights went out, the Dalbits (group lightstick name) were turned on and the show began. The members of ONEUS were beautiful, they delivered incredible performances, looks and vocals. Throughout the show they really showed themselves impressed with the warmth and animation of the Brazilian TO MOONs. The projects that were thought by the fanbases also got a lot of attention from the members and they didn’t spare comments about them.

 

TO MOONs BR surprises ONEUS & comments from the boys

After the announcement of ONEUS coming to Brazil, Brazilian fanbases immediately came together (Portal ONEUS Br and Fly With Us) and formed the Brazilian Union of TO MOONs, creating a “Secret Agency” in order to carry out four (4) missions (projects) for the show making the ONEUS and TO MOONs experiences even better and closing the tour with a gold! Preparations began in November 2022 so that everything could be done with peace of mind. The projects were the following:

 

1. ‘Red Thread’ Project

In the same concept of the song ‘Red Thread’, TO MOONs transformed Terra SP into a “Red Sea” using red tape on the flash of cell phones. Knowing how much this song is special for the boys and for TO MOONs, the first two verses were sung by the audience before ONEUS starts singing the song and the flashes with light reds stayed on until the last notes of ‘Red Thread’.

Amazed and surprised with the projects, they felt the love of the Brazilian TO MOONs, and when they saw the lights red at the beginning of the song, their faces were filled with pride, love and happiness… At the moment of Ment (Members’ comments with TO MOON), Xion, KeonHee and HwanWoong were the ones who commented the most:

“Oh, and I saw the red light too,” Xion commented.

“I’m curious, do you have a red light in Brazil?” (asking if the flashlight in the Brazil is really red), asked KeonHee making everyone smile. TO MOONs explained that they put red ribbons on the flashes for that color and he smiles and thanked TO MOON. “Oh, did they put the sticker on for you?”

“Thank you so much, it was a really nice surprise and this song means a lot to us!” said HwanWoong.

 

2. ‘Skydivin’ Project

The song ‘Skydivin’ started to play and TO MOON surprised ONEUS once again with a fanchant and choreography in the song’s chorus. This surprised the boys and and they excitedly commented:

“We’ve done a lot of shows already, but Brazil was the first one that danced with us!”said HwanWoong surprised.

“Let’s do it again?” KeonHee asked TO MOON. ONEUS sang the chorus of the song and all danced again with the ONEUS.

“Shall we get to the hard part?” asked Xion looking at SeoHo who sang the break of the chorus “OH..OH..OH”. ONEUS accompanied the vocal and asked the TO MOONs to repeat right away.

“Since you guys dance, I guess we should just sing the songs then” joked Xion.

“Wow, I already knew it… But Brazil, you are very warm!” said SeoHo surprised.

 

3. Youth Project

During the instrumental of the song ‘Youth’, TO MOON started to raise the banners with the phrase “We Reach You at this Moment (Korean)… For ONEUS my Light.” and ONEUS loved it. They sang and looked with much love at all Brazilian TO MOON until the last music notes.

 

4. Conscious TO MOON Project

Bags were distributed in the line for the TO MOONs to place the garbage and for disposal, conscious in space from Terra SP.

In addition, the fanbases launched the led bracelets as an option, in addition to the Dalbit (lightstick) for TO MOON who went to the show. It was opened for sale by order, and delivery took place via couriers and at the distribution point in line during the day of the show.

The setlist for the show followed, and when the show is done by the ONEUS, and for TO MOONs, the time went faster. But it’s time for ONEUS to surprise TO MOONs, and for the first time in the entire tour, ONEUS performed after the encore ‘Last Song’, the second encore with ‘No Digitty’ was performed for the second time as they loved the enthusiasm and reception of Brazilian fans with the music. And with the feeling of wanting to go back in time and live it all again ONEUS said goodbye to the TO MOONs on stage and they proceeded to Hi Touch and the group photos.

It was a memorable night in São Paulo, where the Brazilian TO MOONs and ONEUS could finally meet and be a single light.
