I may be biased, (heโ€™s my bias after all) but we all can agree some idols deserve more recognition than they get. AROHA’s Park MinHyuk, best known as Rocky from ASTRO is one of those.

Not only is he a hard worker and has quite a lot of talents under his belt (rapper, main dancer, choreographer, singer, actor, MC, composer, AND producer) but heโ€™s also one of the most caring and genuine idols out there.

So here are 5 reasons why you should consider stanning Rocky from ASTRO:

 

1. He sacrificed A LOT to be an idol

We all love an inspiring story, and our boy here has a super interesting one. Back when he was only 12 he was cast as one of the main characters on the Korean production of the musical Billy Elliot. But as fate would have it, just before his opening stage he got cast by Fantagio (his actual agency) to become a trainee.

At the end, his parents convinced him to join Fantagio, and luckily, he still got to use all his knowledge about classical dance as part of his preparation to be an idol.

Fast forward to 2022, when he finally made his musical theatre debut as Dโ€™artagnan on the Korean production of the “Three Musketeers”.

 

2. Heโ€™s not only super talented but also hardworking

This guy has juggled multiple schedules like a pro. As the main dancer and sometimes choreographer of ASTRO, heโ€™s the leader of all things dance related within the group. You just have to watch some of their dance practice videos to see how the members relay on him to learn the difficult steps.

 

 

3. He cares so much about his fans

He was called Fanservice Angel by Japanese fans after last ASTROโ€™s concert there.

He had a Vlive show called FM 02.25 where he shared lovely advice about life with AROHA.

 

4. Heโ€™s like a pandora box of hidden talents
