Within this article we will dive into artists in various genres, established groups, trainees and new debuts that have under 400K YouTube subscribers or less then 300K monthly listeners on Spotify. As previously mentioned in the original part one article which you can check out here:

We discussed the overwhelming world of K-Pop and the various genres within in the K-Industry. This post will be a post to bring light and an unbiased suggestion(s) to new fans to find new artists, including groups not often posted about.

To begin this post, let’s dive into the following 8 artists:

 

1. Rare House (Trainee Group)

Rare House is currently a trainee group underneath Great M Entertainment that consists of the following trainees: SeongBin, SeongIl, SungMo, SeokJun, DongGun and DoGyun. (DongGun is currently in “Boys Planet”).

The trainees of the group first entered the scene by opening their official YouTube account on May 30, 2022 before posting their first video; a cover of EXO’s D.O solo song ‘That’s Okay’ on October 4, 2022. Since then, the trainees have all been picking up attention on TikTok and YouTube since their newest video and hip hop fueled ‘Illegal’ Performance Video had the members SungMo and SeongBin’s participation in both writing and composing the song. As of writing this post, Rare House has a strong following paired with an impressive view for their single ‘Illegal‘ and ‘Fire‘. When writing this post, their current sub count would change from 3.08K to 4.05K subscribers. Including having 16K views on ‘Fire’ and 49K views on their song ‘Illegal’ Special Performance Video within only 4 days.

2. xikers

If you follow ATEEZ or KQ FELLAZ 2 you might recognize the members. Since their KQ Fellaz 2 days they gained lots of positive attention for their song ‘Geek‘, ‘Tricky House‘ and ‘Industry Baby‘ dance practices and [performances (including performing at KCON!). The trainees were also seen opening for ATEEZ in OakLand and watching Ateez during their concert in Los Angeles. As of writing this post on March 28, they do not have a Spotify, but the group holds a striking and impressive 47.6K subscribers on Youtube and 63.5K followers on Instagram.

The group consists of the following 10 members: MinJae, JunMin, SuMin, JinSik, HyunWoo, Hunter, JungHoon, SeEun, YuJun, and YeChan. They have since debuted on March 30, 2023 with the mini album “House of TRICKY: Doorbell Ringing”. Until then you can connect with them through their contents: “House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing”, “xikers on Air”, “Tricky House”, “KQ FELLAZ 2”.

3. ABLUE

ABLUE is a South Korean Boy Group underneath JSTAR Entertainment that has made a statement that they will be re organizing their artists and splitting them into two separate groups: ABLUE and ANTARES, but will perform as “AA” when together. The following 6 members: WinL (SeungHo), ON (DongWoo), WonJun, SeongSoo, You (TaeYoo), and SukJun debuted on October 23, 2022 with the single ‘Carnival’’.

After the members debut in multiple other groups, ABLUE is slowly gaining fans’ attention with 1.9K monthly listeners on Spotify, promoting in Japan and even busking in Hongdae.

4. JWiiver

JWiiver is a 7-member boy group underneath StarWeave Entertainment, the group debued on February 17, 2022 with ‘JTRAP‘. The song consists of a cyber punk theme paired with fresh vocals and rap with the following members: Shita, RiHan, RoShin, RyuJei, Gabin.K, JuKang and Raots (Yuchen). Currently, the group has 19K subscribers on YouTube and 4.8K monthly listeners on Spotify.

5. BXB (Also known as Team 4:00 on “Peak Time”)

If you have followed “Peak Time” or TRCNG, or even as B.A.P younger brother group (TRCNG pre-debut days), then you might recognize four of the members in this group. Originally started as APR Project with the 4 former TRCNG members (HaMin, SiWoo, JiHun and HyunWoo) they released two project pre debut songs (one even featuring a former TRCNG member) before officially announcing their name as BXB (Boys By Brush) and a new maknae June.

BXB debuted as 5 members with ‘Flight and a New Beginning’ on January 30, 2023. Some fans even stated that the members’ rap and tone of MV feels like as homage to BAP.

6. Queenz Eye

QueenZ Eye is a 6-member girl group from Big Mountain Entertainment who debuted on October 24, 2022 with “QUEENZ Table” which featured the two tracks: Yummy Yummy! And Before&AFTER. The group consists of the following members: WonChae, Hannah, Jenna, NaRin, AhYoon, and DaMin.

7. SKYE (Former IN2IT) (Also known as Team 03:00 on “Peak Time”)

IN2IT who originally debuted on October 26, 2017 underneath MMO Entertainment are currently an independent group underneath the new name “SKY” underneath their own entertainment agency. The official rebranding happened on March 16, 2023.

SKYE has gained attention through their participation on the show Peak Time as “Team 03:00” but were unfortunately eliminated during the survival round. Since then, the group has been active on both TikTok and Instagram. Even appearing on ARIRANG Radio on March 5. Check out the group’s latest cover and comeback here:

 

8. Walking After U

Walking After U is a 4-member band consisting of Sunny, A-Zzang (AhYeon), HaeIn, and HanGyeom. The band was formed as a merger between two other bands (Rubber Duckie and Swingz). They made their official debut on September 19, 2014 underneath LODIS Company. Since then, the group has released numerous content: TV & Radio performances, GOGO Videos, Clip Videos, WAU TV, cover videos, “WalkingAfterU TV”, and more. The group’s latest release is: “Different Color #blue (2022 Remastered)” that featured 5 tracks. Walking After U currently has 4.63K subscribers on YouTube and 633 monthly listeners on Spotify!
