Ciipher, The Hidden Gems Of 4th Generation

Ciipher Official

You’ve probably heard of them once before, maybe through all the attention Keita got from “Boys Planet.” Ciipher is truly a group worth stanning, full of talented and fun members. Everyone should give them a chance.

Ciipher (์‹ธ์ดํผ) is a 7-member boy group under R.A.I.N. COMPANY, which debuted on March 15, 2021, with the song ‘I Like You’, the title track of the extended play with the same name.

From their debut up until now, they have released three mini albums, “I Like You” (2021), “Blind” (2021), and “The Code” (2022). Sadly, the members slowly became more and more inactive after the short promotion for “The Code.” Two of the members, TAG and Keita, became contestants for the Mnet survival show which created the group ZEROBASEONE, “Boys Planet”, but TAG left the show before it started airing, therefore his screentime got cut out, while Keita was eliminated at the finale. HyunBin, the leader of the group, also joined a survival show and is currently a contestant on MBC’s “Fantasy Boys” (second season of “My Teenage Girl”), while the other members aren’t really active, they mostly send Bubble messages every once in a while, but their social media accounts are silent except for the content coming from the survival shows the members are competing in.

Their potential as a group is not being appreciated enough, all seven members (HyunBin, Tan, Hwi, Keita, TAG, DoHwan, and Won), are extremely talented and have participated in the creative process of multiple of their songs, and have amazing vocals, rapping and singing skills, nice personalities, etc, so if youre thinking of giving them a chance and stanning them, I will be recommending some of my favorite content as a CLUE (Ciipher’s fandom name) since 2021.

All their CPR (Ciipher) videos are on YouTube. You can find behind the scenes of dance practice, music shows, special dance practices and MVs, etc.

In their covers and self-composed songs, you will be able to see their talent in all areas. Here are some of my faves:

And lastly, their vlogs (sadly there arenโ€™t that much), all of them are very entertaining and comforting.

Obviously, these isn’t all about them, or all the content, words cannot express how talented this group is and how much they are worth stanning and deserve more recognition. I hope that in the future, Ciipher can continue to grow and follow their dreams besides CLUE.
