Corbyn releases new song ‘Before I’

Hong Joo Hyun is a South Korean American Singer SongWriter, Producer, Dancer and former leader of the South Korean Boy Group 24K who originally debuted in 2021 before going underneath various member line up changes and the original line up of members parting ways (the current lineup has since appeared on Peak Time and has debuted new members and re branded). 

Within his time within the group, Hong Joo Hyun was known as ‘Cory’ (his former stage name), where he would take an avid part in the creation behind the group’s music and is often recognized for the popular fan favourite songs like ‘Hey You’, ‘Only You’ and ‘U R So Cute’. Fans also boast that the idol is produced the entire ‘Super Fly’ album himself and is referred to as the ‘true one man all made album’. The artist is also recognized within his work for heavily taking part in his work. 

Hong Joo Hyun would continue his career as some of the members would retire from the entertainment/ idol industry, some deleting their previous listed SNS (Social Media) profiles or YouTube accounts. He would re debut underneath his current stage name, ‘Corbyn’ with ‘M$D’ (Million Dollar Dream) before becoming the executive producer of 28 Laboratory Music. This company would release exclusive merchandise to fans through ordering directly through Corbyn as he would as fans to request purchasing merchandise after a certain item was teased through Instagram Stories. Slowly but surely Corbyn has begun to find his sound and who he is as an artist, figuring out what he wants to share with fans and what kind of concept he wants to deliver. 

Some of his most well known and fan beloved solo songs include (but not limited to), Liquor Talk, Miro, Criminal, Dantes Valley, ODSEE, Burn, COLD and Sorry’s Never Enough. Corbyn often performs and creates songs in English due to considering it as his first language, these songs are often English focused tracks and allows him to interact with global fans more easily. 

Since teasing the possible idea of new music to fans, Corbyn would later share his EP Tracklist for his newest work [ before I ] which would act as a three track EP; Before I (Title Track), Galaxy Eyes and Bullet Through my Heart. 

The EP itself would contain meaningful lyrics and lyrics that really make you think about your relationships and perspectives. Through the title track, ‘Before I’, which would be a soul filled and r&b influenced track paired with numerous heartfelt emotions.
