Born in Seoul South Korea back in 2004, he would later go on with his studies at the Seokyeong University Department of Applied Music where he majored in vocal studies. As also stated by his written Spotify profile which can be seen/read here, he would previously be a trainee underneath the agency Kakao Entertainment during the 2019 to 2021 time period.
He would sign with Nostalgiaa Records who is currently home to the artist Riaan. Originally teasing DANE’s (의 싱글) upcoming debut to fans across their SNS (social media) platforms, it wasn’t long before his first single ‘Selfie‘ would be released on October 10th 2024. According to articles regarding the debut, the article would state that DANE would take part in the creation of his works (and his debut), from writing lyrics to co composing. The song itself would feature R&B within the song and emotional melodies.
In a wave of newer announcements, both parties would announce Dane’s upcoming second single through different SNS (social media) posts before the official full reveal of the song today on March 17th 2025 which you can check out below or on your favourite music streaming or social media platform.
