For many artists within the K-Pop industry the group they are apart of can often range anywhere from three to sometimes even twelve members. Due to the large number of members there is often sub units/ duos within that said group that promote together or have common promotions (Such as Seventeen’s BSS for example who promote songs together apart of their regular group promotions).
Sometimes within the industry and due to the various music show stages, end of the year awards, and other similar stages its common for artists to come across each other and interact. Like for many of us, social connection and creating friendships is such a big part of our lives and is something we do a lot even if we aren’t always thinking about it. It can often provide positives to our daily lives and expose us to something new (like new music, new hobbies or other endeavours that bring us joy). The same goes for most K-Pop idols, even searching for ‘common K-Pop friendships between idols’, ‘K-Pop famous friend groups’ you will come across familiar faces being friends with others in the industry. But it is often rare to see such an interaction between three idol groups with numerous members.
In a string of posts across the groups SNS (social media) platforms, they would end up making their fans swoon and ‘crossing their Kpop 2025 bingo cards’ in this unique yet fun interaction between the groups during their Japan Promotions where the groups were taking part in the 2025 Kpop Festival. According to a translation about the event by Japan – Korea Cultural Exchange Association regarding the Festival, the groups that would attend would include MYTRO, Kiss Of Life, All (H)OURS, AIMERS, DKB and E’LAST. (More info can be found here).
Not to long after this, would an official Dance Practice featuring DKB, E’LAST and AIMERS would be uploaded where the groups would cover the beloved NCT127’s song ‘Walk’. For some fans who might not have known about the Festival or are frequent viewers of any of the groups social medias, would come across the challenge they would do of ‘Walk’ for the first time. Many praising the group for their take on the care, while being completely overwhelmed with joy about the friendship and their groups interacting in such a refreshing and comforting way.
AIMERS (에이머스) is a 6 member boy group who debuted underneath Hyper Rhythm back in 2022 with the album ‘Stage 0. Betting Starts’, while have most recently taken part in an OST in 2024 and would release two singles in 2024. While ELAST (엘라스트) is an 8 member boy group who debuted underneath E Entertainment back in 2020 with the mini album ‘DayDream’, and are notably known for various songs. While DKB (다크비) originally debuted as an 9 member group (currently 8) and would debut back in 2020 with ‘Youth’.
