24 years ago, on the 25th of October 1998, Lee MinHo (Stray Kids’ Lee Know) was born. A few years later, he was already filled with one passion: dancing.

In the video above, we can already see him dancing and the interviewer from National Geographic said “Anyone of these hopefuls could be the next big thing in K-Pop”, he could not be more right because a few years later, MinHo joined a crew and became a professional dancer.

Then, unlike the majority of trainees, MinHo was already a professional dancer when he joined JYP Entertainment. This is why he surprised everyone by passing the 40 JYPE basic choreographies in only two weeks. (The shortest time among every trainee of the company). This is also the reason why he had such a short period of training before being spotted by Bang Chan and asked to join the “Stray Kids” project.

He went through various tests during the survival and his future of debuting was at risk. For a moment, JYP wanted to exclude him from the group but later he realized that the group was much better with all the members so it was the beginning of Stray Kids, and “Lee Know” debuted.

This picture was taken the moment when JYP announced that Lee Know could come back and debut with all his members.

Through the years, he never stopped working hard and he always did his best to grow and evolve. Anyone could definitely notice his evolution in singing, rapping, and even in dance (even though he was already so good before). He opened to stays, showing different sides of his personality.

‘Dawn’ was his first solo project, he was able to show us his work and passion with his own choreography.

He often shares with us his love for animals and especially cats. He personally got 3 of his own: Soonie, Doongi, and Dori. He loves to send pictures of them to STAY.

He uses his influence to draw attention to organizations that support stray cats, whether it is by directly donating or by wearing items from their collection that contribute to it.

Overall, Lee Know manages to convey his passion for dance to STAY but also to his members. Bang Chan himself once said that when they practice, he tends to ask Lee Know for guidance since his dance skills are so great and he knows a lot performance-wise.

However Lee Know never relies on his past achievements, he always works to excel even more in any skill. During an interview for Nikkei Ent. he said: “I originally joined the group as a dance member, when I debuted I think there were many areas where I lacked skills compared to other members. However, Iโ€™ve been working hard to improve myself because I thought that I should not cause a burden to other members and I should not be left behind because of that. I am feeling that as a growth. Now I think I am able to relax more on stage compared to before.” (translation by eternallino on Twitter).

Those are the reasons why Lee Know is loved by so many. He is a talented and very hardworking artist. He improved in rap, dance, and singing and keeps working on it everyday. He is a genuine person, honest, extremely funny and always takes care of his members. His pure heart contains a lot of love for animals, his family and friends and STAY. His way of showing love is by teasing people. His smile is the most warm and precious thing in the world.

Lee Know, thank you for being born. Thank you for your dedication and hard work. Thank you for being our inspiration. Thank you for being the person you are today. STAY love you to the moon and back. We wish you the happiest birthday.
