Singer and songwriter Hojean has released his single ‘Easily’ on August 11th. This comes after his previously well-received single, ‘Destiny’, which was released May 10th.
In his newest song “Easily”, the passionate singer details his unreciprocated love in a track that is reminiscent of 90s R&B. This matches perfectly with the lyrics that are intended to bring listeners to their knees in a fit of emotion.
Hojean, real name Yi Justin, is a Korean-American singer-songwriter and producer hailing from the state of New York. After his 2019 single ‘Let Me’ garnered attention from listeners across streaming platforms, Hojean has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in just a short amount of time. The artist prides himself on being self-made all while keeping it real by being his unique self both through his music and internet personality.
With ‘Easily’, Hojean entails a one-sided love where he confesses himself to be a hopeless romantic through his passionate lyricism. He does this all while being frustrated that his love remains unanswered.
“I said I got a lot of shit on my mind/Do it all for her but she don’t give me time,” he confesses in the song. He continues to profess that his yearning is unrequited, singing: “She don’t care if I die/She don’t care if I live or die/Every time I cry”.
In previous music, Hojean has touched the subject of love and his relationships with songs like ‘Over 85’, ‘Hold Me’, and ‘You Ain’t Gotta’. Despite singing about the same subject on multiple occasions, the artist continues to drop music that is fresh and ever-moving with the progression of his artistic growth.
Hojean’s ‘Easily’ is available for streaming across all music platforms, and you can catch him on his tour “To Cherie, With Love” in the fall of 2023. Tickets are available for purchase through his Instagram.
