Known for his various roles as an artist and songwriter within the 6 member K-Pop powerhouse group that is MONSTA X, Im ChangKyun would become known as the lovely and youngest ‘I.M’ after the group would debut after their competition show ‘NO.MERCY’ back in 2015.
MONSTA X is known for their innovative sounds from powerful or graceful performances such as ‘BeastMode’ or ‘Fantasia’, and always keeping fans on their toes in terms of content, and knowing when to put us in our place and not forgetting to remind us to be respectful to all artists and individuals in the industry that the group interacts with. It wouldn’t be long until the members would begin on their solo debut activities and releases, from Kihyun debuting with ‘Voyager‘, Joohoney debuting as a soloist as a pre military enlistment gift to fans with the beloved ‘Freedom’ and ‘Don’t worry be happy’. Hyungwon and Shownu would follow this up after returning from military and debut in a duo unit together.
Despite numerous music releases and projects in the past up to 2020, I.M would finally fulfill Monbebe’s wishes and debut as a soloist underneath StarShip Entertainment back in 2021 with the EP [ Duality ]. Although in 2022 he would move companies and continue as a member of the group, I.M would see more opportunities both as an artist and model underneath the new company.

Not only would I.M comeback with the powerful and impressive EP that is [ OVERDRIVE ], and showed off his vocal abilities as a singer in the calming single [ Slowly ], but the artist and model would recently share newly taken pictorials ahead of his next release of interesting fashion with Allure Korea. A popular South Korean magazine in the industry offering both original content, lifestyle focused, style, beauty and green promotional tips and fashion.

While March comes to an end, I.M has finally released his newest music release with fans on March 31st at 6pm KST (Korean Standard Time) entitled [ Off the Beat ].
