South Korean Canadian artist, rapper and producer Jeon Jiwoo entered the music scene originally through hip hop and rap underneath the name ‘HAYAKE’ (하야케). Currently focused on promoting and releasing music underneath his real name ‘Jeon Jiwoo’, not only would the artist crush his PHD Proposal Exam and share the excitement with fans back in March, but he would later share various black and white stunning images, teasing fans along the way to the official ‘After Image’ release.
Jiwoo would introduce fans to ‘Afterimage’ on April 17th 2024 which caused numerous excitement throughout the fanbase and will be the first official release since 2022.
Jiwoo is often recognized for his works such as (but not limited to): Greed, Comme Des Garçons, Lustre, Inner Eden, In the Blur of Rain, Evergray, Aston, Sapphire Blue, Limbo and Anti River. Using elements that create a hybrid of trendy K-pop and Western Pop through the elements of contemporary pop and even r&b to soul.

The beloved rapper and song writer Jiwoo is able to keep fans interested in his music throughout his various works, showcasing himself as someone who is able to do a variety of things as an artist and won’t just stick to one ideal or image.

While many waited patiently for Jiwoo to release new music since 2022, it would seem like the artist would come back with more and more good news for fans, introducing them to ‘After image’ on April 18th 2024 through an official MV shared by his label ‘WAVY’.
