Jung Soomin releases OST for ‘Family by Choice’.

Jung Soomin would seemingly first introduce himself to the public during his first appearance on the popular competition show ‘LOUD’. The show was a collaboration between both JYP Entertainment J.Y Park and PNATION’s PSY to create two global boy groups that would debut underneath the said companies, the show itself started and ended in 2021. Within the following year, Jung Soomin would go on to compete further on the shows Stars Awakening (also known to fans/viewers as ‘YouthStar’ or ‘Youru Star’ which would consist of a total of 108 contestants in various categories). 

With the show coming to an end, Jung Soomin would go on to sign with Neuron Music and later develop his social presence online through different SNS (Social media) accounts, like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and even his SoundCloud. Through these platforms, Soomin would gain attention for his likeable personality, funny yet relatable content and is often recognized for his appearances/hosting on the popular video/streaming radio for ‘Arirang Radio’ where several of his relatable moments or funny scenes would catch the attention of new viewers.

Last year on November 14th 2024 Jung Soomin would release his next OST ‘Dreaming On Your Breath’ for the original soundtrack (OST) for the South Korean Drama ‘Family by Choice’. Recently however Jung Soomin would reveal a live session singing the song to fans on March 16th 2025. 

Earlier this year, Jung Soomin would take part in another OST for the South Korean drama ‘Who Is She?’ with the song, ‘Thinkin’ about You’.
