Kpopmap Fan Interview: A Saudi Arabian NOW Talks About Her Favorite Group MIRAE And Her Bias Son DongPyo

There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other’ stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

 

Budoor is the next fan to answer our questions. She is from Saudi Arabia and is a fan of MIRAE, and particularly of Son DongPyo. Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

 

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

My name is Budoor. I’m 25 years old, from Saudi Arabia.

 

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I entered the fandom when JunHyuk and DongPyo went to “Produce X 101” and DongPyo debuted with X1.

 

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

In the beginning I just decided to support them for DongPyo but after some time, I got to know them well and fell in love with each of their members. Now I can’t get off from being obsessed fan for them.

 

Who caught your attention at first and why?

If I talk of the real start, of course it will be DongPyo as I said earlier, but if I choose from when I got to know them as MIRAE ummmm… I think it will be Khael? I think i have a crush on ’02’s line ㅎㅎㅎ

 

Who is your bias, and why?

DongPyo… I’m just loving the person that he is. 🤍🤍

 

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

Title track definitely will be ‘Marvelous’ and B-side will be our heartwarming song ‘Dear My Friend’ and as well as ‘Bang-Up’, cause it deserves attention.

 

 

 

 

 

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

Oh my, that’s hard enough… for V Live, I think will be all of DongPyo’s individual V Lives. They were so much fun. I’d suggest the Dalgona V Live + Valentine V Live + all of DongPyo’s dorm Vlog + Capture time V Live with MIRAE + ‘Now’ song cover + DongPyo’s first fan meeting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

Even though all their contents are sooo fun, I’ll recommended the ‘Now’ song cover + music video of making ‘Dear My Friend’ song + their first outside reality show “Mirae City” and their chaotic reality “Mirae Heaven Game” Season 1 and 2 + V Live where they spoiled the “KILLA” album, and more. It’s just puzzling for me to choose.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Name a variety show/content show that you would love to see your bias on? Tell us why.

Ummmm “Running man”? All of the MIRAE members love playing around and do missions. They will have much fun and the viewers as well ㅠㅠㅠ.

 

What type of concept do you prefer?

I think it’s all depends on the group vibes. I’m an EXO-L too, and I prefer the sexy concept for them. For my MIRAE, I think I prefer the playful charming concepts.

 

Can you recommend words that your bias like to hear to new fans who don’t know yet about it?

DongPyo always loves to hear that his fans will always being with him supporting and love him and never end ❤️.

 

Can you describe your bias in only one word?

For me my bias is my son, baby, and life. He is too much an innocent and a sensitive baby :((.

 

Can you share with readers the first ever picture you’ve saved of your bias on your phone?

That really make me emotional 😭. All my data was gone, I don’t have it. That’s a picture from a long time ago.

 

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

Of course, it is from ‘Dear My Friend’, exactly this line:
“Call my name, my friend, I won’t let you get lost, I will be your map.”

 

Are there any words from the members you would like to share?

“If the whole world turned their back on you , you can never continue until the end without your family”.

What is your favorite group/bias’ influence on your daily life?

They mean a lot to me, and I mean it. They really encourage me to reach my dreams and their laughs heal me after long days. They also inspire me to study Korean, as well improve my English cause I lead their news on the arab fan accounts. We need to translate every point about them.

 

What is a random fact that you think people don’t know about them?

MIRAE members really really love each other too much. I feel proud every second I see their treat for each other 💗💗.

 

If your bias were to collab with another idol, who do you think would be best?

I think DongPyo will suit really well for a collab with a girl group ㅋㅋ.

 

What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying?

The best thing about it is having my own interests and happiness.

 

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

I think there’s none… Our boys trying to show all what they have and what they can do in every chance they have, and they don’t let any way for anybody to have a wrong idea about them.

Dear my DongPyo,
I love u from 3 years ago and I’ll still love you in the future too. I’ll be behind you whatever you do and whereever you go. I’ll continue to support you even if you couldn’t meet meet me and have a chance to know that there are fans like me with you. You’re stronger than anything in this life. I believe in you, my baby.
