Marcus Rayden Cabais, popularly known as Marcus, is a talented Filipino singer and actor who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Born on August 31, 2009, in Bataan, Philippines, Marcus has achieved remarkable success at a young age.
Marcus first gained attention in 2015 when he participated in the children’s segment “Mini Me” on the popular show “It’s Showtime.” He impressed the audience with his imitation of American singer-songwriter Jon Bon Jovi. Two years later, Marcus returned to the show as a Wildcard performer, showcasing his exceptional talent once again.
In 2018, Marcus made his film debut in Regal Films’s “My 2 Mommies,” directed by Eric Quizon. He portrayed the role of Tristan, the son of Manu and Monique, played by Paolo Ballesteros and Solenn Heussaff. Marcus’ performance in the movie received positive reviews from critics, who praised his acting skills and considered him the “glue” that held the film together.
From 2018 to 2020, Marcus had the opportunity to perform as young Simba in the Asian touring company of “The Lion King” musical. This experience allowed him to showcase his singing and acting abilities on an international stage.

In 2022, Marcus took part in the reality competition show “Dream Maker,” which aimed to form a boy band managed by ABS-CBN and MLD Entertainment. Despite being the youngest contestant at just 13 years old, Marcus impressed the judges and mentors with his exceptional performances. He consistently stayed within the top 7 throughout the show, eventually securing a spot in the finals and placing second overall. This achievement led to his inclusion in the lineup of the newly formed boy band HORI7ON.
On July 24, 2023, Marcus made his official debut as a vocalist of HORI7ON with the release of their debut album, “Friend-Ship.” Notably, Marcus and his fellow band members contributed as writers to the fourth track, ‘Mama’, showcasing their versatility and talent.
Marcus’s success did not stop there. In December 2023, HORI7ON performed at the “AAA 2023” and received their first award, the Focus Award. Shortly after, they were recognized as the Rising Star Award at the “11th Korean Wave Awards 2023,” further solidifying their status as a promising group.
