Originally introduced to fans of Super Junior Eunhyuk and One Pact (former Black Level Member) Jongwoo that they would be co producing a boy group of multi talented and multi skilled individuals through [ K-Pop Boys Project ] that would also be announced through the first episode which was released back in February of this year where the original idea of the group would be previously shared by Eunhyuk; “The goal is to create a boy group that is active in different fields such as acting, MC, singing and modelling. Eunhyuk believes that the members being able to work in different fields is more important than their idol ability.”
As more episodes/ videos would be released on the YouTube Channel, fans would get an insight into the group’s formation, watching the group practice their dancing skills and other behind the scenes content. Within the videos and as the official profiles and more facts would come out about the members and as their positions would later be shared with fans. The group currently consists of 2 Japanese members (Misumi Akito and Morisaki Daisuke who was a member of the K-Pop group BLANK2Y underneath the stage name Mikey) and 5 South Korean Members, although Yoo Sunghyun (former JWIIVER) member is currently on hiatus due to sudden hearing issues, the other 4 Korean members are: Ha Seokhee (Former contestant on Stars Awakening/Fantasy Boys and former boy group member of KAIROS), Park Minwook (A model who has appeared in several fashion shows and was a model for the Korean clothing brand Musinsa), Seo Junhyeok and Bong Saejin.
As those episodes would come to an end and apart from Seokhee would upload his first cover on Youtube, the group would later reveal cheering guides, dance practices and more regarding Daisukes song ‘Dream in the Sky’ which would show his abilities as a producer and song writer and has since shared his produced song ‘You’ apart of his first mixtape.
The members are slowly becoming more active on the groups SNS (Social Media) pages, including small updates such as selfies (Selca’s) and funny clips or dance challenges.
