Moon JongUp Opens New Official YouTube Channel And Asks Fans For Suggestions For His Personal Channel And Ideas

After creating the YouTube Channel “Moon JongUp” on July 4, 2021 to promote his debut as a solo artist and pre-release his single ‘Find (feat. Moon SuJin)’, the artist also featured a fellow member on his album “US,” with the track ‘Photo (feat. Bang YongGuk)’, and also achieved his 2nd drama OST work for the drama “Idol Recipe” with the song ‘Day Dream (feat. Sleepy)’. 

His solo channel contains a handful of promotions for the song ‘US’, including vlogs with the B.A.P members and behind the scenes content of promotions. 

It didn’t take long before the soloist, dancer and singer caught the attention of new fans, audiences and the judges after appearing on “Peak Time” as a solo contestant. While fan boys cheered him on in the crowd, Moon JongUp is known amongst fans for being a little shy and unsure of performing without his members. However, despite this factor, many praised the idol for performing SEVENTEEN’s ‘Anyone’ by himself. Not only was he recognized by SEVENTEEN (he even did the ‘Super’ challenge with SEVENTEEN’s Jun), but the idol also ranked within the top 6 of individual contestants. He participated in an interview and photoshoot with “Elle Korea.” Eventually, he signied with MA Entertainment after the show, back in May, around the same time his new channel was created. 

For the first time since its opening, publicly, Moon JongUp mentioned his other channel in the latest video ([UPload] EP 19 Moon JongUp’s New York Expedition (2)). He mentioned to fans that although he was thankful and was known to heart on fan comments and reactions to his older videos, in his new channel, it might be more difficult to do it and that he may not be able to do it like before. He also briefly mentioned and requested for numerous ideas about not only what to do with the channel, but what his fans would like to see. For an example, he mentioned something like travel vlogs, wondering if something like that would be of interest.
