oceanfromtheblue (오션프롬더블루) is a singer songwriter who debuted on March 12th 2018 where he would steadily become known for his love and attention he gives his fanbase (often lovingly referred to as Fishes), impressive live vocals, deep mellow yet relatable music and impressive discography. Even if you don’t recognize oceanfromtheblue (or OCEAN) by name, if you are involved or follow the activities or releases of the Korean indie or Korean R&B scene you might actually recognize him as the fifth South Korean to ever appear on the popular series ‘COLORS‘, or a couple of his most loved releases: sherlock, girl (feat. BLOO), Automatic Remix, necessary girl, flying to the moon, Scent, Come Back Home (feat. Yeeun), ice cream or Inspiration.
From teasing his fanbase (who is often lovingly referred to as fishes) with the possibility of new music, it wouldn’t be to long before many fans across the globe would wake up with a new notification regarding a new single release underneath the name ‘WYTD’, the track itself featuring ICHILLIN’s lead vocalist and sub rapper Park Joonhee (Joonie). The two previously worked together on the show ‘RAP:PUBLIC‘ alongside O’DOMAR on the track ‘LINE’.
Previously releasing his album ‘Painting’ in 2024, ‘WYTD‘ is the first official single from oceanfromtheblue in 2025 and is currently teasing new music in the future as well as he asks fans to stay tuned for his next album.
