ONF’s Main Rapper Wyatt announces his new Youtube to Fuse

Although K-pop is often used as a term for Korean Pop Music, it’s a general umbrella term for South Korean music as a whole. The musical genre and industry like many others often include sub genres within their music ranging from but not limited to: electronic (EDM), hip hop, pop, rock, r&b, indie and other music elements that influence the tone of music or general concept of an album or music single. 

Due to this factor and paired with new artists and solo artists entering the scene within these various genres, it allows the new listener or intrigued individual to dig a little deeper into viewing different artists and finding what they enjoy the most. But its not unknown for one artist to try out different genres throughout their artist career. 

ONF is one of those groups fans (known as ‘Fuse’) often mention to new comers for this reason. Not only is the group described as two sub units (ON Team: Hyojin, E-Tion and Minkyun) and (Off Team: Seungjun, Wyatt and their fellow Japanese member U (Also known as Yuto). But their debut 5 track EP [ ON/OFF ] was an album consisting of Korean Dance, K-Pop and Electonric elements, you might know them for their releases, popular and most recent ‘By My Monster’, ‘Beautiful Beautiful’, Sukhumivit Swimming, or those relatable and attention grabbing songs ‘Popping’, ‘We Must Love’ or ‘Love Effect’ to name a few.

Shim Jae Young who is known mostly as ‘Wyatt’, is the Main Rapper and Lead Dancer within the 6 member boy group underneath WM Entertainment. He is known to most fans for not only being the sweetest and most considerate member, but for co composing and taking part in writing lyrics for many of their songs, even sharing some of his favourite work on his Soundcloud and Fancafe. 

One of these songs and more recent releases, were included on his fellow members tracks entitled ‘Far Away’ where he would be listed besides Minkyun (also known as ‘MK’) as a lyricist as well as being featured on the track itself shared on MK’s YouTube Channel back on June 20th 2024. The song would be a gift to Fuse as it would be released on the same day that he was officially released from military just 1 year ago. It wouldn’t be very long after the release on MK’s Channel that fans couldn’t help but notice a youtube link added to the main rapper’s bio on his official instagram page [ thisisreal_brave ]. 

While Wyatt often posts a variety of updates to his fans throughout the year including sharing things like his music tastes or other promotional work he has taken part in, fans are intrigued about the subtle announcement and what is possibly to come for the idol.
