Pentagon’s Jinho shares the behind the scenes of his latest musical, ‘A thousand Blues’.

Jo Jin Ho (조진호) who originally got his start in the entertainment and music industry by being the first place winner of SM Entertainment’s Everysing Contest in 2008, he would later debut in 2010 underneath SM’s project boy unit ‘SM The Ballad’. Where he would gain attention for his vocal talents as a young singer before leaving the company to take part in the show [ Pentagon Maker ] where he would later debut underneath Cube Entertainment’s group (Pentagon) in 2016. 

As Pentagon would develop themselves as artists and finding their own sound and not to long after their debut in 2016, Jinho would start a fan beloved series [ Magazine Ho ] on January 31st 2017. This series would be the start of how he would share his vocal talents with fans and the general public. Often sharing the songs and OST’s he enjoys, the clips are often performed live, this series as of writing currently holds 61 videos in the official playlists. While Jinho also sometimes reposts the clips on his Instagram or in YouTube Shorts which can be seen for episodes #62, #63, #64 and #65. 

Later within his career, he would also make history as the first idol to ever advance to the final round of the popular show [ Phantom Singer 4 ] where he would debut in the third place team and debut with ‘CREZL’. For more about this, you can read about this here, here and here. 

The South Korean Singer SongWriter and musical actor has since taken part in another musical, ‘A Thousand Blues’. 

The musical itself is based on the novel by the same name by the author Seon Ran Cheon. She’s a novelist known for winning first place for her nuclear apocalypse series [ A Broken Bridge ] and more. She later won the 4th Korean Science Literature Award for the work ‘A Thousand Blues’. You can read more about the author here and check out her SNS here.
