And ZEROBASEONE truly “blossomed” as flowers at the 31st Hanteo Music Awards (HMA). Keeping true to their “global monster rookie group” title and proving why they’re the lucky 7th artist to attain the “Rookie Grand Slam”, ZB1 secured TWO wins at HMA!

On February 18, the 7-month-old rookie boy group was crowned “Rookie of the Year (Male)” at the award show. With this 10th “ROTY” win, ZEROSE celebrated ZB1’s “Perfect 10” winning streak on X. In other words, ZEROBASEONE won every single “ROTY” nomination during this award season.

The members earned the other nine “Rookie of the Year” awards or similar titles at the following award shows: 2023 K Global Heart Dream Awards, 6th Fact Music Awards, 2023 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA Awards), Melon Music Awards, 8th Asia Artist Awards, Asian Pop Music Awards, 33rd Seoul Music Awards, 38th Golden Disc Awards, and the 2024 Circle Chart Music Awards (formerly Gaon). With the nine previous “ROTY” awards dedicated to each member, their 10th “ROTY” win is dedicated to the fandom who stayed with them through thick and thin and showed never-ending love: ZEROSE.

Furthermore, ZEROBASEONE is the 1st and only 5th generation group to earn this history-making milestone. They now become the group with the most “ROTY” wins, surpassing aespa, who attained the “Rookie Grand Slam” in 2022. This makes ZEROBASEONE and aespa with the most “Rookie of the Year” wins since the start of their respective careers.

But the celebration at the 31st Hanteo Music Awards doesn’t stop there! The members take home their 5th Bonsang with “Artist of the Year”, alongside senior artists like NCT Dream, who took home the Grand Prize of “Best Artist”. The members also received four other Bonsangs at the following award shows: “Bonsang” at the 2023 K Global Heart Dream Awards, “Worldwide Fans’ Choice” at the 2023 MAMA Awards, “Bonsang (Main Prize)” at the Seoul Music Awards, and “Best Album Bonsang” at the Golden Disc Awards.

ZEROBASEONE doesn’t get enough recognition for their talents and achievements, despite being one of the hottest and strongest 5th generation leaders in the K-pop industry. Since their formation from the survival show “Boys Planet”, the members reached new heights nobody thought was possible. From becoming a double million-seller with their debut EP “Youth in the Shade”, home to their debut track “In Bloom”, to garnering almost 40 million views for “Crush”, the title track from their 2nd EP “Melting Point”, ZEROBASEONE is more than a group of history-makers, record-breakers, and game-changers.
