Pop-up Store Review: Bunny Land For NewJeans Fans In Seoul

NewJeans is a group that debuted in 2022 and was formed by ADOR Entertainment. They perform easy-to-listen R&B music and they are also known as a group making records. A lot of K-Pop fans pay attention to their work, and they have gained fans across the globe with their talents and energy. For the release of their new mini album “Get Up”, the group held a pop-up store in Seoul, South Korea.

The pop-up store named Bunny Land was held at Nagwon Arcade from July 28th to August 6th. This event was born from a collaboration between NewJeans and Spotify. To enter the store, fans needed to register in the waiting system. 

Only fans who received a message to come could enter the pop-up store.

The staff gave explanations about Bunny Land to fans who enter so it was easy to look around. 

There was also a mission card event. When a fan cleared all the missions, they could receive a toy camera.

When following the route in the store, fans could see bunnies and a screen showing NewJeans’ music videos.

There was also a nice place to take photos. Fans could take memorable shots over there. 

The first station was called Playlist Station. There were 4 playlist cards and fans could choose one. The songs that were in the cards were ‘ETA’, ‘Cool With You’, ‘Super Shy’, ‘Get Up’. If you choose one, you can get a photo card and a coin. Then I had to move to make a playlist including NewJeans songs. After making it and showing it to the staff, you got two tapes in the cassette tape.

The place where we can make key rings was closed early because it was sold out. The second room was a gaming room and it also needed a reservation. There was an arcade machine outside where we could play pixel games. We could play it before using the gaming room.

In the gaming room, there were a photo booth and a dance booth. At the photo booth, we could choose a background for the pictures and we could write or draw over them.

At the dance booth, we could choose the songs. The songs come out from the machine and we could record the video. If we share the recorded videos on social media, the other missions will be cleared.

Going up the stairs there were gacha machines. After inserting a coin, fans could get random gifts. The gacha gifts were AirPods Max, jellies, NewJeans signed polaroids, and Spotify streaming tickets. Most of the fans received jellies.

The last station was Bunny Beach. Taking a video using the AR filters to Spotibunni and showing it to staff was a mission. The staff gives a quiz and you could receive a vacation package. Many people visited the pop-up store, so it was hard to get gifts.

Next time the pop-up is held I recommend joining it to all NewJeans’ fans!
