Reasons Why TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) Is One Of The Best K-Pop Groups Ever

TXT Official

1. TXT made a name for themselves

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is a K-Pop boy group of five members Choi YeonJun, Choi SooBin, Choi BeomGyu, Kang TaeHyun and Huening Kai, who debuted on March 4th, 2019 under BIGHIT Entertainment. Their first mini album, “The Dream Chapter: STAR”, found big success. Their title track ‘CROWN’ and B-Side ‘Cat & Dog’ was a hit among fans.

After their successful debut, they encountered a difficult time due to losing fans as a result of their delayed comeback. Yet despite that, they made their first comeback a success and even won the “Rookie Of The Year” award. In 2019, they were known as BTS‘ little brothers, but throughout the years they showed that they were more than that and made their own identity in the industry, and now they are called “Global Gen Z Icons”, “4th Gen It Boys”, “4th Gen Leaders”, and many more titles.

2. They have a flawless discography

From their first mini album, “The Dream Chapter: STAR” to their latest pre-release single “Back for More”, TOMORROW X TOGETHER have literally no skippable tracks, as all of their songs are amazing. Due to having different genres of music, the idol group is able to fit everyone’s taste. Whoever you are, you can’t tell me that you didn’t dance to ‘Tinnitus (Wanna be a rock)’, sing ‘Anti-Romantic,’ and like ‘0×1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You),’ ‘Blue Hour,’ and ‘Cat & Dog.’ TXT are one of the few groups that have B-Sides that are as good as the title track, and sometimes even better. As a note, three-fifths of the songs listed above are B-Sides — that’s how good all their songs are.

3. All members are extremely talented

All of five members of TXT are very talented. They can all dance and sing absolutely perfectly, draw in people easily by their phenomenal performances, their stage presence is insane, and they are always synchronized. All members have credits in many of their songs. Aside from their musical and performance talent, they have way more.

For example, SooBin is good at baking, a talented MC, and a wonderful leader. YeonJun is a natural at modeling, a fashion king, and skilled at cooking. BeomGyu is excellent at painting, a great MC, and would do amazing at hosting his own talk show. TaeHyun, aside from being the main vocalist of TXT, is also gifted in cooking. Huening Kai can play up to 6 instruments and can speak more than 4 languages. These examples, among many others, is why I said that they’re extremely talented. They are also still young, so they haven’t reached their full potential and discovered all their talents.

4. TXT have received numerous achievements

Although TXT are only a 4 years old group, they have achieved many things. For example, they are the first K-Pop act to perform at Lollapalooza and the first K-Pop group to headline the event. They performed in front of more than 100k people, had 119k fans tuning in live on YouTube, and more than 800k viewers on Weverse. They are the first 4th gen K-Pop boy group to have more than 11M monthly listeners on Spotify. ‘Sugar Rush Ride’ is the fastest 4th gen boy group MV to reach 100M views and has the highest 1st day views on YouTube.

TXT are 1st 4th gen boy group, and youngest group, to attend the AMAs, the first 4th gen boy group to win a VMA award (PUSH Performance of the Year), and are the most nominated K-Pop artist this year at the VMA (4 categories). The idol group are the 2nd K-Pop act to receive an RIAA album certification in the US and also spent 19 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. They are the most streamed 4th gen boy group on Melon and ‘Sugar Rush Ride’ is the song released by a 4th gen boy group with the most unique listeners and streams on Melon. There are many more achievements but it will take too much time to mention them all.

5. TXT are literally perfect

The members of TXT are literally perfect. They are all-rounders, with good looking visuals, unproblematic, funny, humble, and the kindest souls ever. Yes, they have their flaws, they are humans after all, but that’s exactly what makes them perfect and relatable. They are honest and raw with their emotions and opinions, making them seem like normal young adults. TXT love their fans very much, and treat us like their friends. The idol group feels comfortable with us enough to joke around, open up, and be their true selves around fans.

In my article I wanted to show that numbers are not the only thing that makes a group the best, but the quality of their music, personality of the members, and their sincerity matters too. Since TXT have it all, and much more, that’s why, in my opinion, they are one of the best K-Pop groups ever.
