Stray Kids HyunJin's Journey To Becoming Versace's Global Brand Ambassador

On July 20, Gianni Versace S.r.l., usually referred to as Versace, announced K-Pop sensation Hwang HyunJin, a member of Stray Kids, as Global Brand Ambassador. Fans had been anticipating this piece of news for quite a long time. ‘Why?’, one may ask. Let’s take a look at the path that led HyunJin to becoming the first Korean Global Ambassador of this fabled luxury brand.

HyunJin has made numerous appearances in Versace clothing. All eyes were on him when, at the beginning of 2023, the artist displayed his Versace look on the cover of “Men Noblesse”, along with his bandmate, (Lee) Felix. HyunJin’s breathtaking demeanour shined in the pieces of the 2023 Spring/Summer Men’s Collection, the vibrant colors of the apparels adding to his confident and optimistic aura. From colorful collage pattern shirts and golden necklaces to striped suits, he managed to make every style his own, proving once again that among his countless talents is modeling.

The event that made a crucial change in HyunJin’s relationship with the brand, however, came a few months later, more specifically on May 23. HyunJin was among the renowned celebrities who attended the ‘La Vacanza’ fashion show from Donatella Versace and Dua Lipa, in Cannes, France. His flawless appearance and charismatic aura definitely left fans stunned. He took a couple of photos with pop sensation Dua Lipa and Donatella Versace, the brand’s chief creative officer. From then on, it was rumoured that he would soon be named global ambassador of the fashion company.

A little after his second appearance at a Versace event, this time at ‘La Vacanza’ Pop-up Store Event in Seoul, Versace posted an Instagram story, revealing that HyunJin will be the brand’s global ambassador and JYP Entertainment was quick to confirm the news! According to “WWD” (Women’s Wear Daily), HyunJin will be the face of Versace Holiday 2023 campaign, which will be launched in November.

In the meanwhile, Stray Kids are preparing for their appearance at ‘Lollapalooza’ festival in Paris, on July 21!
