Stray Kids’ Lee Know Becomes “The God of Love” Through W Korea’s Pictorial

W Korea

It is what one could only describe as “impossible to miss”: a deep and rich shade of oxblood that characterizes the majority of the pictures, catching the eye of even the most picky spectators. And, just as you start thinking  that you will be engaged in these vivid red hues eternally, your attention shifts to the imposing figure which quickly becomes the focal point.

This is the impact of W Korea’s digital cover for October, featuring Lee Know, member of the globally celebrated K-Pop group Stray Kids, and Gucci’s new color code, “Gucci Rosso Ancora”. The two unforgettalbe sensations commingled harmoniously in this “Red Take Over” photoshoot, during which Lee Know showcased his impeccable visuals in an enchanting concept, transforming into “The God of Love” himself. Flaming arrow and bow in hand, he displays his own interpretation of his Gucci 2024 Cruise Collection ensembles, designed by the fashion house’s newly appointed creative director, Sabato De Sarno.

Lee Know manages to make any style his own, as he maintains his luxurious and magnificent aura while the outfits transition from sophisticated to more casual pieces. His exquisite demeanor is marvelously highlighted by the innovative setting, that even included a horse!

Let’s take a look at the unique styles brought to life by the idol!

A glimpse into the 90’s

Keychains and a plain T-shirt with colorful stamps: a streetstyle outfit more likely to be seen on teenagers during the 90’s rather than among the elegant pieces of a luxury brand. Lee Know proves his ability to bring the garment to a whole new level with his extraordinary facial expressions and the slight help of an arrow.

Oversized fashion

Yes, this is definitely a break from the dramatically dainty era of Gucci. If we take a look at the fashion show on which the clothing was first presented, we will even notice an iconic skateboard serving as an accessory for this specific outfit! Here, posing in a particularly oversized jumpsuit, Lee Know is ready to deliver a long-awaited message of love while still looking trendy.

Nobility and streetwear

A long-lasting symbol of grandeur, horses are among the last animals one would expect in a photoshoot with streetwear. Lee Know, however, serves as the connection between two totally different – and, more often than not, colliding – worlds as he holds the reins of a horse while dressed in ultra-modern, oversized ensembles.

Dress shirts never grow old

A vibrant red shirt was all it took for Lee Know’s energy to convert from playful and youthful to delicate and genteel!
