Stray Kids is set to headline two European music festivals in July.
Stray Kids will perform at the I-Days Festival in Milan, Italy on July 12 and at the BST Hyde Park festival in London, England on July 14, making them the first K-pop boy group to headline the said festivals.
Started in 1999, I-Days has previously featured several artists, including Green Day, blink-182, Liam Gallagher, and Justin Bieber.
The lineup at this year’s Milan music festival include Metallica, Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, Bring Me The Horizon, and more.
Meanwhile, BST Hyde Park is a series of concerts that began in 2013. Renowned artists who have performed in this music festival are Celine Dion, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Adele, and more.
Blackpink became the first K-pop act to headline the festival in 2023.
Other headliners at this year’s London music festival include Andrea Bocelli and Robbie Williams.
Last January 26, Stray Kids performed at the Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes (which translates to Yellow Pieces Gala) at the Accor Arena in Paris. It is a charity event that aims to raise awareness and raise funds to improve the living conditions of hospitalized children and adolescents, according to its website.
Last year, they became the first K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza Paris.
