If you are new to the Korean Music Scene or the Korean Industry in general you may have heard of fans, groups, and numerous solo artists celebrating impressive milestones such as ‘anniversary’ even if they recently debuted, became rookies in the field or have been around for along time.

Although not all fans always celebrate these special days, you may come across the following as well; White Day, 100th Day Anniversary (Since Debut), Fan Selca (Selfie Day), and more. These are celebrated as often as holidays by South Koreans and hold meanings for many individuals and are often used as milestones in someone’s life and individual special meanings to someone depending on the person.

Despite busy schedules and various contents, you might have seen various Korean Pop artists celebrating this as well!, K-Pop artists are no different and often pre-prepare special events, prepare for livestreams, or pre-film different content for fans on this day.

The following 9 members; SeRim, Allen, JungMo, WooBin, WonJin, MinHee, HyeongJun, TaeYoung, and SeongMin (CRAVITY 크래비티) would take to their official SNS (Social Media) accounts to announce this impressive milestone.

Although some might recognize CRAVITY as MONSTA X‘s Junior Group or ‘brother group’, the members are actually their own established artists.

From their trainee and rookie days, from previously attending and training at CUBE, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, back up dancers, BigHit Entertainment, Former “Produce X 101” competitors, and more. CRAVITY would soon make their debut as a 9 member group and debut on April 14th, 2020 with the mini album “HIDEOUT: REMEMBER WHO WE ARE Season 1”.  The group would even create an Instagram account to tell the stories of their characters and prologues (often referred to the groups back story or ‘lore’)

To celebrate CRAVITY (크래비티) hitting this impressive milestone as artists, here are some fan favourite b sides, covers, and title tracks for newer fans or for those individuals wanting to check out something new.

Let’s take a look!

1. JungMo & MinHee ‘Don’t Forget’ (Original by Crush)

The song was originally released in 2016 by Crush who featured TaeYeon on the track and is a popular fan favourite amongst many listeners of Crush’s music. 2. MinHee ‘Unpainted Canvas’ Cover

Although the idol is known for his time as a former member of the project group X1, MinHee would later debut in CRAVITY with his charming visuals and unique vocals.

On August 3rd, 2022, MinHee would release a cover of ‘Unpainted Canvas’ a song sung originally by DAY6‘s WonPil on his solo album “Pilmography“. Don’t forget to check out Wonpil’s ‘Unpainted Canvas’ live clip if you enjoy the song here

Originally created and sung by BTOB and as one of their most popular fan favourite tracks, CRAVITY would appear on BTOB’s “Kiss The Radio” on KBS “Cool FM” and featured CRAVITY on March 27th, 2022.

The song itself allows CRAVIY to show off their different vocal talents that may not always get the spotlight. Fans also can’t help but mention that one of the members (Allen) known to be the group’s rapper even shows off his ability to do the vocal position within this song and blend with the members beautifully.

Admittingly a personal favourite of mine would have to be Moonlight. As my own personal music style and playlist changes, I still find myself turning back to ‘Moonlight’ and the easy-to-follow vocals within this song.

‘Moonlight’ is the 5th track on the groups’ EP ” HIDEOUT: BE OUR VOICE SEASON 3″ alongside the following tracks; ‘My Turn’,’ Call My Name’, ‘Mammoth’, ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Give Me Your Love’. The EP was released on January 19th, 2021.
