Why TaeSeon From “Fantasy Boys” Should Debut, His Story

TaeSeon (Yang TaeSeon) was born on September 17, 2000, and he made his first debut in 2017 as the leader of a group called TRCNG under the TS Entertainment.

TRCNG was a talented group: their choreographies were difficult, with some stunts too, but really coordinated, vocals and rap on top and their determination, talent and passion was shown in every little frame of theirs.

But this was not the dream they imagined, it was a nightmare.

On November 4, 2019 (3 years after the debut) the lawyers representing TaeSeon and his co-member WooYeop submitted a contract termination and sued the TS Entertainment of accusations including violating the Children’s Protection Act, Mistreatment and Abuse and financial extortion.

A senior executive of the agency hit me on the neck with a toothbrush. Of course, I might say it’s a penalty. The right lobe was struck with an iron chair. I got bruises all over me. There is also an injury certificate. Witnesses, members.

And with the physical abuses of the members there was an inhuman condition of life in the dorms: TaeSeon and WooYeop bought a lot of proofs about the dorm disposition (with only one bathroom for 10 people, 8 people in two rooms, and 2 in the warehouse), and how the members and their families had to pay for every service, like food, heater, cooler, water purifier and all the reparations and hospital fees that the company should’ve taken care of.

After the complaint, the two members left the company, and the rest of the group was in a hiatus for three years before the actual group disbandment.

Nowadays, TaeSeon has a contract with GGA company (GAWOO Global Agency), and he’s a contestant in the MBC’s survival show “Fantasy Boys.”

During the show he has proven to have perfect leadership skills, he helped his teammates when they were having a rough time, and the youngest contestants think about him as a father figure, always ready to rely on him.

But TaeSeon isn’t just a good leader, he’s also a magnificent singer. During the first grade evaluation of “Fantasy Boys,” he was able to switch from second grade to first grade, thanks to his stable voice during the performance of the signal song ‘FANTASY’.

And of course, being the idol he is, his dance skills are fantastic, with perfect coordination and adaptation.

The show is almost over. Every Thursday on NAVER NOW at 10 PM KST, they will be airing an episode. He’s currently in the 9th position out of the 12 debut positions.

Talent aside, TaeSeon has a great personality, he’s polite, lovely, always with a bright smile on his face, calm and composed but funny at the same time and last but not least an animal lover. People who love animals are said to have big hearts, and our boy is one of them, with his two pets Myu (the kitten) and Cookie (the puppy), and he loves them so much that he hasan Instagram page just for them (@tae_children).
